You guyssss, I just learned about the craziest thing - in the 1800s, specifically in 1874, there was a scam where people used HUMAN TEETH as money in some parts of the world! I know it sounds wild, but apparently it was a thing and I am FASCINATED. The idea that human teeth were considered valuable enough to be used as a form of currency is just mind blowing. Like, can you imagine carrying around a pocket full of teeth to buy your daily goods? I guess it's not that different from carrying around a wallet full of cash, but still... it's just so weird to think about. Anyway, I just had to share this weird piece of history with you all.
