#28portraitchallenge day 12: dreamy. This is my first self portrait in years, and I decided to go with a surreal and whimsical touch, though it wasn’t originally meant to be as representational as it now is. Peonies are my favorite flower, but the wings are from Imperial Pied Doves, my animal persona; the strawberry flowers show my favorite fruit(by appearance) and Baguio, the international capital of strawberries, where my mother is from; and then at my heart I put my favorite pencil to show my art, a linglingo to show my heritage, and an ace pin to show my sexuality(also biromantic, but I might actually be lesbian).
