Would you ever write a humanformer AU?

I've thought about it. Unless I venture into an alternate universe in the Lost Light arc that is essentially the same story but humanformers, I likely won't do anything more than holoform avatars.
HOWEVER. I would very much like to convert the story I'm writing into something publishable. Since I doubt I could do so using Hasbro's characters and such, I'd switch to a sci-fi/fantasy story with humanized versions of the characters. I already have the designs in mind for Soundwave (Silas) and Shockwave (Cylus)
In a human AU of the wave family, how old would they all be? Would Ravage be an adult or a teenager?
Ok, I've thought about this a lot! In an ideal world, I'd convert Logical Proposals into a more original scifi novel (or series since, well, length), so having an idea of human age ranges has come up.
Keeping in mind that there would be a substance along the lines of the Fountain of Youth or golden apples in Norse myth stunting the ages of characters who have access to it:
Ravage would have been around 5 when war broke out, and Soundwave was the physical age of about 25. Senator Shockwave/Shockwave at the same time would be the physical age of about 23 to 25. When Laser and Buzz are born, Ravage would be around 14-15. By that point, the waves would be taking the substance stuff to stay around longer, so they stay about 25-27 physically. None of the kids would be allowed to participate in the war until after they turned 18, but they bumped it up to 21 after Beast dies.
For the cassettes who died young: Beast would have been 19, and Wingthing would have been 21. Fest would have taken a different approach to life. Where everyone else is allowed to start taking the stunting age stuff anytime after 21, most freeze their aging between 21 and 27. Fest would have elected to never take any and instead live life as it naturally would have progressed. So Fest died in his 30s looking older than his older siblings.

Having a so so day. Petting my cat and doing a doodle certainly helps, so thought I’d share the latter (because you cannot have my kitten)
The WIP is a humanized version of Soundwave from Logical Proposals
He’s binding his chest as per his morning routine. His stomach is still stretchy even after months of recovering from having Laserbeak and Buzzsaw. My thought is, he’s trans and has decided to not do top of bottom surgery, just take T, because he still wants the chance to have his own kids. Hence his lack of a beard at the moment since he had to go off T to have the twins.
I think I’ll keep his hair messy since he cuts it and styles it on his own for the most part. Ravage helps, but she’s not stylist. So, his dreads are uneven and thrown up for conscience.
He’s also jacked. Like worker jacked. He can lift Megatron easy but never lifts weights or anything. Just tons of sparring and juggling kiddos.
I think the way I’d handle his facial coverings is with tattoos. Like, runes he hand tatted on his face to signify his beliefs. There’s space left for more runes he intends to add over time.

too less imformation about ambu and i think that ambu in my mind is prefectly ooc. and muscle's so difficult.
i always think transforming do have some sexual meaning to tf. (it's just my brainhole dug on a wrong place and never trust me)
when bee's t-cog was stolen in tfp, i think about kidney robbery. in chinese tradition, we relate kidney to the ability on bed
in anime head☆master, when chromedome see arcee transforming, he shows shyness and excitement like a young boy saw a lady's nude
in spotlight orion, they say transforming can bring them ecstasy
after getting this WRONG concept, i can't face that transform-addicted tarn normally
