I followed an online tutorial to block in a human figure on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xAumJRKV6A
This is my result that I am pretty proud of. The blocking in was made easy if you have some anatomical knowledge of a human - eg. the tilt of the neck, the forward thrust of the upper torso and forward tilt of the pelvic bone resulting in the serpentine curve distinct to any human from the side view. Some ideas on proportion would definitely help too.
I titled the final piece as “The Threesome”. I threw in a HDRI lighting and a semi metallic material on the figures and then I have a Jeff Koon. I am thrilled.
