”Money is the root of ALL evil.” I have heard this phrase repeated my entire life. It is one of those quotes that people don’t take the time to think about. It is one of those saying that is accepted as easily as it is to repeat it. Money is the root of all evil? Is this fact? Is this true? Or is this just a general statement that looters invented as a tactic to take our money? Money is the root of all evil. But our government takes our money from us through unneeded taxes and to support programs that the most of citizens would never think to agree with. $3.8 million spent on Human-Elephant Conflict?(http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/feds-spend-38-million-decrease-human-elephant-conflict) In America?!?! Paid for by the citizens of a land that elephants are not roaming wild and stampeding humans. Maybe it is our government big wigs, the ones that we chose to elect, that are the elephants. But laws aren’t passed anymore to protect us against them. They pass laws to protect them against us. (Monsanto, healthcare, etc.) But then they tell us guns are the root of ALL evil. If money is the root of ALL evil, how can guns be equally the same? The looters used this tactic for money and now they are using it on firearms. They wish to take every right, not given to us, but earned by our ancestors who crossed the Atlantic on hopes for a more free lifestyle. They were followed. The British began taxing goods sold and imported. But these people, unlike our generation today, did something about it. There was a war. And they won. This sounds terrible, but would you let government take away your money, the money you worked hard for, without asking? You would and you do. The colonists decided not to let that happen, so they fought it. The only difference now is that they are trying to take away our guns. A second amendment right that was earned and created to protect the colonist from that sort of thing ever happening again. Well, it’s happening. They tell us that these things are evil, so that they may loot them from us with somewhat of a consent and approval. If you hear anyone tell you that money or guns are evil, stop conversing with that individual! They are there to take something from you so that they may better protect themselves against you, and not vice versa. Fransisco d’Anconia, a protagonist in Ayn Rand’s novel, Atlas Shrugged, attacked this statement with a powerful speech. (http://capitalismmagazine.com/2002/08/franciscos-money-speech/). This is a novel written 50 years ago and is still a best seller today. Somehow, someway, Rand was able to predict the future, more than 50 years ago. It is worth taking a look at. Fransisco argues that money is only tool by which we trade value for value. It can take you to wear you wish to go, but cannot replace you as the driver. It can assist you in pursuing the means of satisfaction of your desires, but does not create your desires. He is correct. Which has helped me to understand that guns are only tools. They can assist you in your motives, but will not replace you as the driver. They can help give you the means of satisfaction of your desires, but will not create your desires. It is not money that is the root of all evil. It is not guns that are the root of all evil. It is people that are the root of all evil. And unless we take a stand against the looting they are doing to take those two resources from us, our society is a dieing one. Because men are the root of all evil we only have time before we become slaves to the very ones that we approved of and believed, and submitted unto.
