—Nadia—

Granted at first Nadia didn’t notice it much. After all you both hadn’t been dating long so she had no reason to look over your body that much.

However, when she and you DO eventually get to the part in the relationship where your doing the naked tango, its only when she’s worshipping your body that she takes note of where ever scar is as well as any other marks you may have. She intends to map out you whole body for her to remember.

Gradually she starts noticing more and more scars showing up when she’s worshipping your body like a lustful goddess she is.

At first she just figured she missed a few the first few times around. Maybe the new position let her see more of them on your arms or legs or what have you.

But she puts her foot down when she notices a big bruise on your thighs, she broke down and asked you. (Purely because she refused to let you keep seeing ANYONE who gave such a dark bruise.)

Of course the way you got it was pure accident. You were restocking shelves behind the counter while standing on a chair so you could reach the top shelf. You lost your balence for a moment and bumped your thigh in an awkward way on the counter.

Nadia didn’t believe you thought.

Not until she witnessed it happen before her.

That morning you and her got a little frisky before heading out for the day. That evening at dinner she saw you bump your hip into the corner of the table and even later that evening while she was making up for he teasing that morning she noticed the dark bruise on your hip.

Not gonna lie she thought of putting baby protector guards on the corners of things. She didn’t though in fear you’d be embarrassed.

Now when she whorships you and she finds a new scar or bruise she asks for a quick story, teasingly chastises you for being clumsy, and kisses the marks affectionately.

—Julian—

Julain’s.... Well he’s Julian. He’s a big lanky, all legs, rowdy man.

It goes without saying that he’s probably pretty clumsy as well, he just either doesn’t know it happened or doesn’t care. (Pretty sure he gets turned on when he accidentally gets hurt so it works.)

SO! What happens when you put two clumsy babies together? You have one falling over and the other one clumsily trying to catch them before falling on top of them.

The man likes to pick you up and carry you around as a dramatic show of affection (Or to carry you to the bedroom) all of which has gotten your head smacked into doorways before.

Bruises and scars is just something that happens in your relationship with him. Granted at first he’d go all mother hen if he accidentally dropped you and he’d feel horrible if you got a bruise or scar from it. But as time goes on with you two being together you’ve both learned to roll with it and make up stupid stories to tell the other about how you got certain bruises or scars knowing they probably already know how you got it.

He still mother hens over you and will apoligize profusely if he bangs your head on the headboard of the bed when he tries to be sexy and toss you, but you’ll both laugh it off.

Body. Worship. Is. Key! He will gently smother ever mark on your body with kisses.

—Asra—

Asra is the opposite of clumsy, in fact you’ve hardly ever seen him fall or get hurt by accident.

He usually tries to steer you away from something if he see’s you about to get hurt.

Already knows about you getting scars easily, in fact you did before you were resurrected.

He likes to sit down and have you tell him how you stupidly got the newest bruise or scar.

“Your just a magnet for accidents sweetheart... I guess I’ll have to be your doctor~”

Totally gets off on the fact he can play doctor for you. He’ll hype it of by saying you need imminent medical attention to a certain scar and just start kissing his way over your body.

He does try to make it so you don’t bump into TOO many things in the shop by cleaning the place and not having to much furniture in one place.

—Muriel—

Muriel didn’t notice at first, not until you came by with a new dark bruise on your arm with a scar in the middle of it. He didn’t say anything about it figuring maybe you just did something dangerous and got hurt— but you were here and fine so clearly you could handle yourself.

Then the next time you came over, the bruise-scar was almost healed but now you had scars all over your legs and knees. He had to admit that now he was getting worried. His mind quickly went to the worst. Someone was clearly hurting you.

You noticed that Muriel had been acting odd all day, to be honest you’d forgotten about the mark’s you’d gotten from falling off the horse while riding with Nadia. But something really stuck out when he kept making up reason for you to stay and help him, normally you didn’t stay all day with him.

“...Inanna needs a bath, do you wanna help?” “...Black berries are in season, do you wanna stay to pick some for Asra and your friends?” “....Do you want to stay for dinner...?”

You took a chance and Drew the line we he mumbled something about you being able to stay the night since it wa so late. Sure it could have been Muriel gradually having you stay for dinner to sneakily have you stay for the night by having you do chores with him all day, but that just didn’t seem like him. You asked him what was up.

“....The marks on your legs.... And the bruise on your arm... Are you okay?” Muriel cracked easily and told you what he was worried about, not before blabbering out quickly how he knew you were safe with Asra and that he wasn’t suspicious of that, he just wanted to make sure you were safe from everybody else.

The thought warmed your heart.

—Portia—

Portias like a cat. She may be short and stout but because she’s closer to the ground she doesn’t ever fall (Or so she says)

Portias probably the cause of 99% of your marks, not on purpose of course. She gets you both into impossiable situations.

“Hey lets go sledding!” Face first into a tree. “Let’s play ball with some of these kids!” Scraped knees. “I found this amazing romantic place through these bushes!” Thorn cuts all over.

Portia also gets small cuts and scrapes easily but she just calls it life and moves on.

“If by the end of the day you don’t have sticks in your hair, dirt on your face, and scrapes on your knees. Are you really living?”

At the end of the day she does of course bandage you up with kids bandaids and peroxide giving herself the title “Your little Nurse”

—Lucio—

Lucio likes you. Your personality, your goals, your quirks, and good, your bads, and obviously your body. He thinks your the most perfect thing in the whole world, its everything he can do not to touch you at the beginning of your relationship.

So of course Lucio noticed right off the bat that you got bruises and scars easily, it just made you look that much tougher.

He never mentioned it because in fact he himself has a very big scar he’s self conscious about.

Once you guys get into the make out part of your relationship, he’s deffinately more tentative as to where he puts his hands but you just take it for him being gentle. He is! He’s gentle because he wants to show you all the affection in the world but also because when he has you pressed into a closet and holding your leg up by your thigh so he can lean in closer to you he’s also trying to make sure he doesn’t touch the dark bruise on your thigh that he KNOWS must be sore.

When it does eventually escalate one evening in his bedroom you can deffinately tell somethings up with him. He’s his normal tentative self but every time he grips onto your thigh with his flesh hand so hard his nails leave little crescents he quietly curses himself for being to rough.

He also REFUSES to touch you with his metal clawed hand making it that much more awkward and hard for him to get positioned right.

It’s not until you say this one specific phrase that he knows you can see through him like glass and it causes him to just M E L T and give up on trying to keep from leaving any more marks.

—Nadia—

It took her aback when she heard you do a snooty impression of the chamberlain. For two reasons— One; You ever normally remarked anyone or showed obvious anger or agitation towards someone. Two; You did a near perfect impression!

“Darling that’s amazing! Do it again for me? I do believe my ears are deceiving me.” Nadia hummed.

You blushed at her compliment but nonetheless granted her request. “Oh I’m the chamberlain!! Oh, countress Nadia!! There’s a disaster that requires your imidient attention during this very unconvient time!” You dramatically threw an arm across your face as you leaned back in you chair, only dilaing back the drama when you heard Nadia giggle from across the table. “I do see what you mean my dear.”

From then on you’d do dramatic impressions of anyone who interrupted the two of you durning the day once they left the room, if for nothing else to make Nadia smile throughout the day.

Then she got curious— Could you do an impression of her?? Of course you could, in fact it was even better then the others.

She thinks of your impressions as impressive party tricks.

—Julian—

Julian found out in a rather bizzar way.

He was trying to teach Malak how to say new phrases, of course the bird refused to cooperate with the doctor. Both of their paients running thin in the kitchen while you sat in the living room listening in. You had to admit in some cruel way it made you crack a smile.

“Malak, Please I’m begging you. SAY GOOD AFTERNOON!!”Julian yelled at the bird who was tossing his plastic toy cups off the counter into the floor. “NO!” Malak yelled back at Julian who yelled in frustration. Juan’s yelling just made Malak even for frustrated; “SaY GoOD AfTErNooN MaLAK!” Malak taunted Julian while he picked up the cups the raven had thrown about in his fury. “Oh har har, Is that supposed to be your impression of me? That’s pretty low even for someone as low to the ground as you.” Julian huffed. “I’M jULIan I’M DrmAtIc AnD NeEd AtTenTiOn!!” Malak squawked. “I do not sound like that!! Who taught you that anyway!?” Julian hissed in defense.

You had moved to stand in the kitchen to watch the circus not long before Malak started doing impressions of Julian. “(Y/n)!!!” Malak cawed cheekily. as quickly as you came in you were trying to discreetly return to the livingroom, until Julian glanced at you. “Hold it right there!” Julian called, when you turned you had the biggest shit-eating grin on your face. “Yesss?” You giggled. Julian crossed his arms and leaned against the counter, his eyebrow cocked up in a playful manner. “So— You do Impressions of me with Malak when I’m not around??” He questioned. “Mostly when I’m mad because your late for dinner— but yes. Yes i do.” You cheekily smirked. “Do it then.” Julian mused.

In a matter of moments you had your hands planted firmly on the counter behind him to pin him in, You were trying to reenact a very specific scene where the roles were reversed.

“Oh. If we had the time, the thing’s I would do... Who know’s if we’ll get another chance? I want it all now. Ugh, How I’d like to ravish you...”

You quoeted Julian in his voice— The same julian who was a blushing and laughing mess above you. You had to admit you had to cover your mouth to keep your giggle fit away. “When have I ever said that??! And i most certainly DON’T make that face.” Julian barked with laughter. You did dramatic exaggerate the face you remembered him making. “Oh no you deffinately did. remember, we were in the library and you shoved us into a sight corner because a bird scared you.” You recalled with a smile.

Julian’s face dropped to a smirk as he leaned in close. “What else have I said before?” He hummed.

Let’s just leave it at; Julian deffinelty enjoys it.

—Asra—

Asra remembered you used to do goofy impressions of people way before you ever died and lost your memories. In fact it was something you both used to do together; A customer with a dramatically-fancy hat would come in, or A very grumpy client would come in. Either way when they’d left you and Asra would crack jokes and do stupid impressions of the person. It made the day feel less long, after all everyone talked about people behind their back it was just a normal thing humans do.

But after you died and came back he had to teach you everything all over again— granted he’d forgotten about those happy moments in the shop mainly from the lack of it. That is until the day you once again started commenting on goofy people who’d just left the shop, then the bitter sweet memory of laughter and stupidly inaccurate impressions came flooding back to him.

He eventually got up he courage to ask if you could do impressions or if you remembered ever doing them with him. He knew it was a long shot since even though you got your memories back you’d told him before it was very fuzzy and had hardly any details before you died, but he couldn’t just not ask even if you didn’t remember and he’d just be hurting himself he wanted to at least have a solid answer so he wasn’t speculating. You knew the basics from before your death— You remember doing the impressions of people but not any specifics other than that.

“Could you try?” Asra asked softly. “I don’t know who I’d do an impression of.” You laughed nervously. “You could do me!” Asra seemed to solve all the problems you had.

After he gave you a line to say you granted his request if for nothing else then to smooth his aching heart, your aching heart.

Asra laughed. That was a good sign. He even cried a little, “It’s even better then i remember!! Fantastic!!” He smiled.

Now— Just like before, You and Asra do impressions of outrageous people who come into your shop throughout the day.

To say Asra was happy is a giant understatement. You could feel your shared heart lighten with happiness at the fact that though you cant remember everything, there’s still a chance things could be like how they were before you died.

—Muriel—

He caught you in the act.

He walked in on you talking to Inanna about something (He really wasn’t paying attention to what was being said) when you started answering yourself with a voice you used for Inanna— officially making it a two party conversation. Inanna didn’t seem to mind, in fact, she seemed pretty interested.

“...Inanna doesn’t sound like that...” You jumped out of your skin at Muriels sudden appearence. You figured he’d think you were crazy but instead he was more concerned with the face you got her impression wrong. “Well what does she sound like the? I can’t exactly hear her talk.” You hummed after a moment. Muriel thought for a silent second.

Both him and you sat there for almost 10 minutes, he tried his best to describe Inanna’s voice to you while you tried to copy what he meant. Eventually he was happy with the results.

Now that you had Inanna’s voice down to a T, you sat behind her and outstretched her arms to Muriel while waving them around. “GIB ME CHICKENNNN!” You whined in her voice. At the mention of food her tail wagged, selling it all the more. Muriel just rolled his eyes.

Suddenly you were behind him, his arms outstretched like with the wolf habeen before. “NO! YOU CAN NOT HAVE THE CHICKEN!!!” You mimicked Muriels voice so well his brain had to take a second to process that he himself wasn’t saying it but you instead. “Your pretty good at that...” Muriel said quietly.

He did think you were really good at it! But he had To ask you stop, it made him feel uncomfortable; Like a doll being voiced. After all impressions could be dangerous when you could make literally anyone say what you wanted them to.

This didn’t mean he didn’t like you doing them, The opposite, Muriel enjoys when you make Inanna talk, or tell a story about the day you spent with your friends and did impressions of them to quoet.

—Portia—

Portia LOVES doing impressions! She’s claimed the crown of the ‘Impression Queen.” Her’s are so good (So she says.)

Now its not secret that when Portia gets excited she tends to repeat herself or even forgets she told you something. So being told the same stories a hundred times is something your used to. Enjoy even! You remember every detail of every story she’s ever told you because she has told you so often.

One day she was telling you a story she had told you already 30 times in the past month so you knew the story fairly well. In fact she was coming up to your favorite part. “Oh! I remember— And then you said ‘Ilyushka you have less brain cells than a plank of wood with a face drawn on it by a child’s crayon.’” You said word for word what she had said that day while also dong an impression of her.

Portia stopped in her tracks. “OH MY GOD THATS SO ME!” She exclaimed

Now she brags on you to the staff and your officially known as the new “Impression King/Queen”

—Lucio—

Much like Julian, Lucio found out from his bird. “Oh I’M LUcIO AnD I hAve MorE ImPorTanT ThiNgS To DO ThEN HaVe DiNNer WiTh My PatNeR!!!” Cameo copied, “Who taught you to say such a thing!! Who dare imply i don’t love my belov—“

“(Y/N)!!!” Cameo Ratted.

well then.

Lucio confronted you in your bedroom in a slightly agitated way. “So a little birdie told me you do impressions of me.” He grumbled. “Once or twice, why?” You hummed as you remembered the latest; Lucio had canceled a dinner date you and him had set that morning to have late meetings with the courtiers. Of course you were mad and did an impression of him on the balcony to make yourself feel better before promptly going to bed without him. Apparently Cameo over heard.

You cleared your throat. “Oh I’m lucio and I have more important things to do then have dinner with my partner, like galavant around with an alcoholic and his minions.” You huffed out in Lucio’s voice while finishing what Cameo had not. Lucio couldn’t decide if he should be mad or impressed. He chose the latter.

“Do another one!” He smiled, you rolled you eyes and continued on doing impressions of him and the courtiers.

Now whenever there’s some party, he pulls you out to do Impressions as a party trick. It’s become very popular AND you get to let out some of your anger by making people sound stupid.

"Mmm, Because my charm had you wanting mme by your side?" He teased softly.

This man, always going on about how amazing he is. You just roll your eyes, "No because we need to you to tell Nadia that Julian is innocent." you explain, you silently mulled over in your head how exactly you'd explain that without sounding crazy. "Ah right, Save your lover from parral." Lucio huffed in slight annoyance.

"He's not my lover." You corrected absentmindedly. Trust was he wasn't, You guys shared a kiss or two both neither were romantic in anyway— Mostly just Julian being so excited and Happy that you'd help him or Some sweet friendly kisses to your head like an older sibling would do.

"Then why are you so hell bent on proving his innocence?" Lucio asked as he floated in front of you, pulling you from your thoughts. "He's my friend and I don't want him to die— Duh. Have you never had friend's before?" You asked as you walked. You were so glad that no one was down the hall to hear your one sided conversation. After all if Nadia saw or heard you were talking to yourself  she'd think you were crazy and not let you on the case anymore.

Lucio blew an annoyed raspberry, "Of course I have friend's! Everybody loves me!!!" Lucio exclaimed with his arms outstretched. You hummed in response which made Lucio snark slightly. "What? Do you not like me?" He asked, "Mmm Well you can be a little annoying with the ego and all." You mused as you began to reach the balcony where Asra and Nadia were waiting for you.

Lucio gasped, "Ego!? I do NOT have an ego!" Lucio said with a slightly high pitched  tone which you would soon realize that when he did that he was almost always lying.

You laughed softly as you looked at him, you had arrived at the door now. "Oh please, It's so big I don't know how you see over it to talk to people." You whispered, mindful of the people on the other side. Lucio just crossed his arms as you opened the door.

Outside on the balcony there was Nadia who sat in a chair elegantly sipping her tea, her eyes darting to the door when it opened, a smile found its way to her face when she saw you. Just you. Asra was sitting across from her, his tea on the table between them. He stood with a smile, "Hey!" He exclaimed as he opened his arms for a hug, you quickly accepted by running into said hug. "God I missed you!" You squeezed him causing him to laugh.

Lucio peeked around the corner to watch you, "Ah I see your into the lazy type." Lucio commented, you tried your best to ignore it now that you were in front of people but you couldn't help shooting him a glare.

Asra's eyes followed yours, his body slipped from yours when he saw Lucio. You didn't notice, he couldn't possibly see him right? Asra look at you now, his who mood changed to worry with a hint of some Th omg foreign to you— Anger. "What did you do?" He asked you slowly.

"I— what?" You asked.

"How is he here!? He's supposed to be dead, what did you do!?" Asra asked as he raised his voice, the anger coming through more then the concern. Nadia was appalled by his sudden mood change and so were you. "Who on earth are you talking about Asra?" Nadia asked, Asra pointed to Lucio who was now standing in the doorway. "Lucio! Lucio's Ghost is connected to MC, I can feel the line. What did you do?" Sara said with more urgency now.

"Lucio's Ghost? Now this is intriguing. Perhaps you'd Should calm down Asra so they can explain." Nadia suggested calmly. Asra took a deep breath as he sat back down. You stood there kind of awkwardly as the center of attention, Lucio took a step in the room but receded said step when Asra shot him a glare.

"So, Mc if you don't mind. How exactly did this happen?" Nadia asked, she kept her mind open to this whole ghost thing.

You took a deep breath in and out. "Lucio's been haunting his wing of the palace ever since he died." You began, "I didn't DIE! It was just an oopsie!" Lucio interjected. Nadia didn't flinch since she couldn't see or hear her Ex-Husband. You just rolled her eyes at his comment and continued your story.

"I found him there when I was investing..." You finished your sentence. "That would make sense with all the stories from the maids through the palace." Nadia said with a sigh, Asra sat there siliently.

You played with the hem of your shirt as your finished telling the story. "He said he couldn't leave the wing because that's where he died." Lucio went to correct you but you paid him no mind as you continued— "He looked really lonely... And I figured if anyone could help solve his death it'd be him but I needed to get him out of the room or he wouldn't help. I found this spell in one of Asra's old books I had brought to protect myself." You stated hesitantly. "Blood pact— You made a blood pact!? Do you know how dangerous that could be!! You bound your souls together!" Asra exclaimed as he stood again, his anger shocked everyone but especially you.

"He wouldn't help unless I did!" You countered, "and what's stopping him from not helping? He got what he wanted— MC you shouldn't trust him!" Asra told with worry laced in his voice. "Asra I'm not a child— you act as if I'm to stupid to know what I'm doing!" you barked at him. Lucio floated over and stood between you two hoping to stop the fighting— to stop Asra's aggression towards you— to protect you.

Asra looked through Lucio right at you, "You don't know what your doing, I treat you like a child because you act like one. Your to careless with what you do and you put yourself in danger because of it!" Asra snapped back. You stood there honestly shocked by his words. Lucio snarled at Asra viscously.

Nadia stood with now, "Enough!" She yelled, her voice full of dominance. Asra backed up and sighed, he looked away not meeting your gaze. "I should have never left..." he grumbled under his breath.

You clenched you're hands that we're balled into a fist— you knew you'd never hit him but you couldn't help that they became fists. Your teeth gritted together as tears prickled in the corner of your eyes. You were furious and hurt. "Yeah well maybe you shouldn't have! You always leave when I need you!" You suddenly snapped, Asra looked at you from the sudden words. When he saw your his expression softened, you standing there trying to to cry or scream— Lucio standing in front of you as if he was trying to protect you from something. Protect you from him.

"Look what you did!" Lucio snapped at Asra, Though you couldn't hear it all you saw was Lucio talking without noise, but Asra heard it loud and clear. "This is your fault you urchin!" Lucio snapped again, Asra sunk softly in his place like a scolded child.

Your turned swiftly and existed the balcony hearing your name called by Nadia, only Nadia.

Your stomped down the hall with Lucio following far behind, not far enough that he was being tugged by the string that connected you, but far enough that gave you space. Funny how he's being the considerate one.

When you got to your room you entered and slammed the door, Lucio was there not too long after but he waited on the other side of the door listening.

A sniffle.

A sniffle caught his attention from the other side.

Lucio pokes his head through the closed door to see you sitting on the floor at the end of the bed, your knees pulled to your chest and your face buried in your arms you had that pulled you closer to yourself.

Lucio stepped through the door and floated over to you. He didn't know what to do— he'd never had to comfort anybody except himself and when he did that he just caught him things to make himself feel better but now that he was a ghost he couldn't really do that. "Hey... are you.... crying?" Lucio asked dumbly as he at in front of you.

"No..." you took a minute to reply, you'd only known Lucio Fir about an hour you didn't want him know you were crying in front of him. Lucio clicked his tongue in disagreement. "Look at me then." He challenged, you were cornered now— "Okay I am..." you admitted.

"Still, Look at me." He said almost softly, you lifted your tear stained face but didn't look directly at him, instead off to the side. Lucio sighed since you didn't do what he asked and just kind of went around it.

"Look at me." He said again, your head looked away but you glanced at him from the side.

"Look at me." He said again, he was starting to sound like a broken record now. You huffed as you gave in and stared at him dead on. "What?" You asked with slight annoyance. Lucio reach out to grab a hair from in front of your face and move it, it was barely caught on his ghostly fingers before it slipped through landing back where it was. Agitated that the action hasn't done what it was supposed to he tried again only for it to fail again.

Lucio groaned in absolute annoyance, he stopped though when he heard your sweet laugh. "What?" He asked like a confused puppy. You had to admit that even if the action didn't happy like it was supposed to even if was a small action that didn't mean much it made you laugh at how he was trying so hard. "You." You hummed at you looked at him, his lip puckered into a pout as heat roast his his ghastly face. This made you smile even more.

Your smile faded as you laid your head on its side, cheek pressed to your arm. "I've never seen Asra so mad— much less at me." You mumbled softly. "Well take it from someone who he's mad at a lot, he'll get over it." Lucio shrugged with a smile. You smiled at his attempt to cheer you up, you sat up nodding. "Yeah I guess he'll have to get over it— the damage is done." You sighed.

Lucio frowned a little at you, "Damage, is what you did for me that dangerous?" He asked, "It can be, but I'm glad I did it." You shrugged with a smile. "Yeah, so you can do the case thing..." Lucio said with a pout. "And, I guess your pretty good company, even if you are annoying." You teased, Lucio chuckled, "Aha! So you do find me charming! Admit it you've fallen for me!" Lucio exclaimed, "in your dreams Casanova!" You retorted. Lucio just laughed at the whole conversation.

Melchior started tugging away, Lucio chuckled as he tightened his grip. "Ah so that's how you wanna play it!" He smiled as he started tugging rougher, Lucio no longer cared about where the toy came from only making his boy happy. Mercedes wanted in on the fun so she grabbed the side of the toy between the two of them and pulled it her way, the bear started slowly tearing between the dog's teeth and Lucio's strength.

You had just finished talking to Nadia, you had all decided to go around town and visit the shops— Maybe you could visit Asra? You were headed to the room you shared with Lucio. It always kind of baffled you that though you slept with her ex-husband that she treated you like a sibling, Your glad they came to the agreement they'd still rule over the city-state but had no relationship.

You opened the door and smiled upon seeing your boyfriend and your babies playing. That smile quickly dropped when you noticed exactly what they had torn between them. Lucio looked up at you noticing you in the doorway. "Hey!" he began happily before he saw your smile slip away to...Shock? Sadness? Anger? He couldn't quite put a finger on it. "What?" He asked, he ceased his rough tugging in fear something had happened.

"That MINE!!" You screamed pointing to the bear. Lucio's eyes widened slightly, Melchior tugged harshly making him jerk forward before he got a tight hold on the bear and pulled a lot harder than before trying to rip it from both the dog's mouths.

Lucio had pulled a lot harder then he meant to, he fell back onto the bed. The tearing noise from the bear being torn in half went through the room along with all the stuffing from it. You and Lucio gasped in shock, he looked at the half he had— the bottom— he looked at the half the dogs had. Melchior had the head and Mercedes had the upper part of the body.

Lucio stumbled over his word, he didn't know what to say in this situation. He looked at where you stood in the doorway only able to catch a glimpse of you as you stormed off.

"MC WAIT!" Lucio called after you. You stomped down the hall trying not to cry over your stuffed friend, you could hear the loud footsteps of Lucio running after you, but they quickly faded when you entered an unused guest room and slammed the door.

The amount of guilt Lucio felt at this moment made a lump of coal form in his throat. "I'm sorry MC! I didn't know it was yours! It was old and ratty I thought it was just a dog toy." Lucio said against the door. "No SHIT it's ratty! It's mine!!! I HATE YOU!" You screamed from the other side of the door, Lucio jumped back. He growled softly as he saw some of the maids stop and stare from the yelling. "You're being ridiculous!! It's just a bear I'll get you another one." Lucio snapped. "I don't want 'Another one' I want mine! But you had to be careless and rip it in half." You snapped back mocking his voice. Lucio was getting fed up, he had a short temper— granted not as short as it used to be.

"Well maybe if you took better care of your shit then it wouldn't have ripped so easily and I would have been able to tell it was yours!" Lucio yelled through the door, he snarled at it.

For once you're grateful for how thick these doors were. You weren't scared of Lucio hurting you— you know he'd never hurt you if purpose. You just didn't want to see him right now, didn't want to be around him.

"Go away..." you chocked out a sob. Lucio stood there for a moment before you heard him walk off.

Lucio walked back to the room with an annoyed gruff. He walked in and looks at the two dogs gnawing on their parts of the stuffed bear, Lucio huffed as he walked over to them and pulled the pieces from them. After grabbing the bear-halves and all the stuffing he put them in his trash can and sat on his bed looking at the two white dogs. They both laid their heads on his knees. "You guys...Always getting me in trouble, this is your fault you know..." Lucio grumbled looking down at their brown-red eyes.

Melchior barked in disagreement, Lucio groaned and flopped back onto his back with his hands on his face. The two dogs jumped onto the bed laying down on each side of him. "Yeah okay... Maybe I went too far..." Lucio mumbled as he slid his hands down his face. Mercedes whined loudly, Lucio reached over and scratched her ear. " It's fine...You guys didn't mean to— Besides they can't stay in that room forever." Lucio said as he sat up, "When she comes out we'll apologize to each other." Lucio stated before both dogs whined loudly from their places on the bed. "I'LL apologize to THEM... Better?" Lucio corrected himself and looked at his dogs who wagged their tails.

It had been a whole week now since the fight, you hadn't budged. You stayed in your new bedroom only letting servants or Nadia in. Lucio had come to your door a few times, once to tell you how ridiculous you were being, another to say how he was sorry, and once begging you to come out. You refused to speak to him though, you wanted to make sure he knew you were livid with him and that an apology wasn't going to fix this.

Lucio was in the dining room with his head on the table, how could he fix this? He offered to get you a new bear— a better bear. Nothing. He offered to have the finest seamstress make you one identical to the one he destroyed. Nothing. "This is harder then I thought it would be when I agreed to change... I've run out of ideas!" Lucio said as he flopped back in his chair dramatically. Melchior laid beside his chair on the floor while Mercedes had her head in his lap under the table. She exhaled through her nose at him. Lucio closed his eyes for a moment, you stay in your own room made it hard for him to sleep— he blamed it on the fact you weren't in bed with him but he knew it was because he had upset you and he couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Hey, Nadia have you heard from MC? Are they still locked in their room?" Asra's voice rang through the quiet of the room, Lucio opened his eyes and looked around. "No, they won't tell me why they refuse to leave the room." Nadia sighed. They were out on the balcony, it was so quiet Lucio could hear them, he stood and made his way to the door. "I heard Lucio and MC got into a fight over the dogs. One of the maids said they were arguing through the door at the being of the week." Portia chimed in. "Those peaky dogs." Julian chuckled, "I like the dogs." Muriel mumbled.

Lucio peeked through the door, On the balcony was your group of friend. Lucio had seen them all out there many times. Each person sitting on a big fluffy colored pillow, Tea and snacks on a platter in the middle, the only face missing was yours. " It looks like someone's ears we're burning..." Asra spoke as he looked at Lucio who now stood fully in the doorway. "Why not join us? Perhaps you can give us insight into why MC Is so upset." Nadia said calmly, She offered Lucio a seat but he stayed standing.

"Well? Don't tell me that The oh so great count Lucio Isn't going to share one of his stories." Julian chuckled. "They're mad." Lucio said clearly right after Julian had barely finished his sentence. "At?" Nadia questioned, "Me..." Lucio cringed slightly as he admitted it. "Well that makes a lot of sense." Portia said everyone but Lucio nodded in agreement as they snickered.

"Hey! Stop laughing! I really need help here I've run out of ideas and they won't budge!" Lucio exclaimed as he dropped down into the pillow Nadia had given him to sit on before. "Well what'd you do this time?" Asra asked, "must have been really bad if they won't leave her room." Muriel added lowly. "That's not their room!!" Lucio yelled making Muriel narrow his eyes, "It will be if you keep acting like a child." Muriel hissed, Lucio, slouched.

"I accidentally destroyed one of their stuffed animals..." Lucio admitted as he looked down. "accidentally?" Julian asked he had a hard time believing that. "Yes, accidentally! I didn't know it was old and ratty, I didn't know it was Theirs! I just thought it was one of the dog's toys." Lucio huffed. "old and ratty? Oh God, it wasn't the bear was it...?" Asra asked wincing. Lucio nodded making Asra, Portia, and Julian all facepalm in defeat. Nadia's eyes grew wide at her ex-husband, Muriel shook his head in disappointment. "What?!" Lucio asked loudly, he felt like the only out of the loop— because he was.

"Lucio, Darling, You— as they say— royally fucked up." Nadia said with elegance. If she was saying it like that then he must have really messed up. "Whys that?" Lucio asked rather dumbly.

"Lucio, they've had that bear since they were born, it's the only thing they have left of their family." Asra sighed looking at him, Lucio felt his stomach drop. Portia walked over and grabbed Lucio's shirt roughly pulling him up until he was on just one knee, his hands grasped her wrists in shock. "YOUR SCREWED MAN!!!" Portia exclaimed as she shook him roughly. Lucio pried her hands off him and stood. "Portia please." Nadia chuckled softly as Lucio wipes off his shirt. "I know I am! I've tried offering them a new bear, I tried offering to have one made just like that bear!" Lucio grumbled at them. "You can't just buy them a new one or have one made just like it, it has sentimental value. It's important to them." Asra explained.

"Well if it was so important then why did they leave it around where the dogs could get it!?" Lucio snapped, he was honestly getting irritated by them all telling him how he messed up instead of fixing his problem for hi— helping him fix his own problem. "Lucio, hun calm down. Why not just fix the original?" Nadia suggested Lucio frowned, "It all in priced after the dogs got ahold of it." He grumbled as he dusted off his knees, "Well I'm sure the seamstress would fix it, it's the thought that counts Lucio." Nadia added with an eye roll. Lucio smiled, "Of course!" Lucio blurted in excitement before darting back into the palace.

Nadia shook her head "I really hope he fixes this." She sighed.

Lucio ran back to his room and turned in circles, he looked through his closet and his chest at the end of the bed. "god where did I put the pieces?!" He asked himself out loud. Once his room was thoroughly a mess he remembered exactly where he put it. He ran over to his trash can expecting to see the pieces only to find that the can was empty. "Ah! Where'd it go!?  Shit!! Today is trash day!!!" Lucio yelled as he darted out his room.

He ran down the hall all disheveled from his searching through his room, he ran into a maid with a basket of clothes and sheets. Lucio grabbed their shoulder sufficiently stopping them, he panted for air for a moment before he was able to talk. "Where do they take the trash? I threw something away but I need it back!" Lucio panted out, he really didn't know where they took it or what happened to it as long as he didn't have to deal with it.

"They take all the trash to the incinerator in the dungeon." the make said clearly. The pit in Lucio's stomach grew as he turned and ran back down the hall, past his room, down the stairs. He stopped when he saw the library, he quickly followed Portia into the library who was getting Nadia a book. "What are you?" Portia asked Lucio ran over and pulled on a few books before the shelf opened. "OH MY GID THERES A SECRET ENTRANCE!?" Portia exclaimed, he paid no attention to it as he ran down the uneven first stairs.

There were many entrances into the dungeon but this was by far the fastest one, the one they used during the plague.

Lucio ran past the gate that leads deeper into the dungeon where the plague victims were held, down the long twisting tunnel was another room, one that no one hit the maids used to dump the trash if the palace. He entered the room and looked around to find the remnants of that stupid, stupid bear.

He found them, but he had to dig through some of the trash to get all the stuffing's, needless to say by the end of his pursuit he was all dirty and messy. Now he began his treck back to his room.

Lucio walked fast but not as fast. As he was running to get there before everything was turned to ash. He didn't talk to anyone instead he ignored them or gave quick answers, he stopped by where the seamstress they had worked. "hey, where's the seamstress?" Lucio asked a woman who was bringing in fabric to the small room. "Oh, they're out of town. They won't be back until tomorrow." The woman said with a kind smile. Lucio groaned agonizingly long as if to voice how done he was with all of this running around.

Lucio sighed, he stood there in thought for a moment before his eyes landed on a sewing kit on the desk, "Tomorrow is too long, I'll do it myself." He spoke with confidence as he grabbed the kit and left the room, the walk down the hall to his room wasn't far.

When he entered the room he paid no mind to the mess he had made earlier, instead, he grabbed a chair and sat down at the bedside table. He laid out all the pieces of the bears and smiled to himself. He could do this.

Lucio had spent the good half of the day sewing your bear back together by hand, he made a few trips to the seamstress's room to grab more fabric that's somewhat resembled the bear's original fabric and more stuffing. When all was done he set the bear up on the table, It's fabric was patchy, Lucio had used white thread so where he sewed was clearly visible through the very dark and light-colored mixed fabrics. The bear slouched onto its side, it didn't really have enough stuffing in the body to hold it up.

The bear was also missing a button eye, Lucio had tried his hardest to look around his room for it but to no avail, the only thing he could think of is one of the dogs had swallowed it. Sure he could have gone back and got an eye that matched but he refused to make another trip, plus he liked the look. It reminded him on a strong bear that had battle scars from victories— but you know, a little cute versions

Lucio kind of started at the bear with pride for a moment.

He grabbed the bear and tiredly made his way to your room, he knocked on the door. You moved around the room that much he could head. "Hey um... Look MC I know why your so upset over the bear, it's not just a bear... I uh— I tried to fix it for you." Lucio said he had to pause a few times both to make sure you were listening and to think of what to say.

After a moment you cracked the door open, upon seeing the poorly made bear in his hands you opened the door more. Lucio handed you the bear which you took and examined. "I know it's not perfect..." Lucio mumbled. "Lucio..." You started, he looked at you upon hearing his name.

" It's horrible!!" You laughed out, Lucio stood there shocked by her honesty, he tried to take it from you in embarrassment but you held it against you. "I love it!!!" You cheered as your grip on the bear tightened.

Lucio felt himself smile, "You do...?" he hummed happily, and tiredly. You nodded and hugged him tightly.

Suddenly you git a whiff of him and pulled away holding your nose as you cringed. "Jesus! What'd you do, go diving in the trash? You stink!" You laughed through your pinched nose. "Well actually... Yeah." Lucio admitted with a nervous laugh. You smiled and wrapped an arm around his waist pulling him side by side with you. "C'mon let's get a bath." you smiled brightly as you began to walk, Lucio walked beside you. He felt the tension in his shoulder relax at your bright smile.

You both walked down the hall together, you commented on how he smelt like a marshland as you walked. " It's your fault, I had to go get the bear after I threw it away this week."  Lucio huffed. You just laughed at him.

You kind of faltered when you saw his incredibly messy room, you looked at Lucio asking silently what happened. Lucio rubbed the back of his neck looking back to you. "I uh... Well, I couldn't remember where I put it and I guess I was eager to fix it." Lucio explained as a blush crept onto his cheeks. You scoffed in amusement. "Go get in the bath and I'll clean the room. Then we can go to bed." You said as you pushed him towards the bathroom.
