Basic explanation:
River Skipp (Human!Squip) is a haughty, arrogant, teen who has no real friends due to his personality. Kert (Human!Rich's Squip) notices this and with the urging of his Squip (Rich in this swapped version) decides to introduce him to the concept of Squip
River buys one and after a painful headache his Squip appears before him- a friendly, nice AI who named himself Jeremy who now will help his host in making real connections with his fellow peers and to fix his behaviours.
