The genus Leucocoryne (Asparagales - Amaryllidaceae/Alliaceae), known in Chile as Huilli and internationally as Glory of the Sun, is endemic to Chile.
These bulbous plants present a great inter and intraspecific genetic variation, especially for the features of shape and color of tepals and staminodes.
