I was not able to attend Howard Homecoming this year, and I was quite disappointed being that it is my first year as an alumnus of the university. We all know how Epic, Legendary and Royal Howard University’s homecomings have proven to be in the past. However, there were quite a mix of reviews when it came down to the glorious occasion this past week. So I decided to form two parts to the recap of events thanks to my fave Greg and sis Jordan. 

I asked a group of current students, old colleagues and friends that attended homecoming this year to send me a one line quote of their Glory Homecoming Experience and this is Part I of what they had to say about the week full of events: 

As you can see, DC was hit with Hurricane Joaquin’s with a down pour of rain and yucky, annoying weather. However, some students said that wouldn’t stop their show. (definitely stopped mine, I couldn’t get stuck in that mess traveling from Atlanta.)

KB Steez talks about styling for The Originals clothing line at Glory’s Fashion Show entitled “NOIR.” From what I’m hearing there were some great clothing lines featured including the young homies who recently released their line Cranium. (pictured above)

Post Malone performed at Show II (more pictures to come) and my favorite part was the Black Lives Matter tribute toward the end. (pictured above)
