A few years back I got the opportunity to get tattooed by two legends in one day. First piece is by Saul Mora, and the second by Huero aka "esse in the valley do my tatts n***a" -Nip"
I went in for an appointment with Saul to get a version of a ring that I have that belonged to my grandfather Ernesto Velázquez, who was a charro from Mexico City in the 40's and did several old black and white films. We were close to being done with this tattoo when Huero came in and was talking with Saul about how a client las minute cancelled on him.
As soon as they were done talking I let him know I was a fan of his work and that I'd love to take the slot for a small tattoo if he was willing.I went with "pocas amistades" a line from a song I had in my head for a while at the time by Los dos Carnales titled "El envidioso". The first line in the song is "Pocas amistades a las mas sincera las llevo en la lista" and I've always been a girl with very few with friends, I don't need five fingers to count. so we ran it:) video taken with permission:)
Anyone interested can find them on Ig @saul_mora & @tattoo_huero theyre both out of In loving memory tattoo Co in California. Love!
