The companion characters all train in the same skill as the MC’s original highest one, due to their lifestyles :)

Pihu trains in perception.

Hudjefa trains in magic.

Nedjemut trains in combat.

Hudjefa is actually a decade older than MC! 😄 He was MC’s caregiver and the leader of the temple where MC grew up as a child. He is a widower now and has two kids, the older being 14.

Pihu is somewhere in her 30's or early 40's.

Nedjemut can be anywhere from 40 to her 60’s.

1. The mental ramblings, from how they think temple buildings are the superior architectural structures to freaking out due to possibly being in the presence of the Pharaoh but trying to convince themself otherwise.

2. Their sensing ability. I just think it's very neat and useful— adds to the overall spirituality of their role.

3. They care! They care so much about the people around them! They can care even about people they've just met (the shy/friendly responses towards Qenna after the incident comes to mind when it comes to this point). Their mentor, colleagues and apprentices mean a lot to them. Their strong reaction at the ceremony and the fact they felt responsible for not preventing the attack (even if Tia is rescued in time) says a lot about the type of person they are. The scene where they're led to meet Narmer and they focus on the drawn fishes thinking that they could get them to make the kids at the temple happy... It only made me love them more.

4. Love Hudjefa, best mentor/parent figure ever (for me).

5. Assuming all the ROs are going to be involved in the dangerous mission, I just thought it'd be funny to add the priest MC to the most ragtag bunch Ancient Egypt has even seen lol.

What a lovely description of the priest character 🥰 A lot of those traits were imprinted on them by Hudjefa because he's that 'mother hen' type of man who always wants to make sure that everyone is properly cared for.

He's actually the reason why the priest mc cannot be younger than 25, because he himself became head priest of his temple when he was only 17. In hindsight, he made a lot of mistakes because of his young age and lack of experience, so he didn't want to make the mc go through the same.

You have no idea lol. Like, even Ahmose will be there. The only heir. Plus Narmer too... Qenna will get a stroke every day for sure.
