Yes, weāre dating | Henry and Terrence
Ever since Henry had sent him the text message explaining that he was in deep trouble and Terrence had to be his boyfriend immediately, Terrence had been looking forward to nothing more than the upcoming prom night. He supposed he should feel a little guilty for not really caring about the circumstances that had led to this. But then, he was still just surprised that after all his agonizing over it, in the end, Henry had asked himĀ instead of the other way around.
Although, his excitement had been slightly dampened when they reached the school and Henry seemed extremely reluctant to actually go inside. Instead, they were still standing outside on the pavement, squashed together under Henryās jacket to try and escape the early-spring chill. The sounds of the ongoing party inside were clearly audible even out here, and as the night dragged on and only got colder, it was only getting more grating.Ā āSo, Henry,ā Terrence said.Ā āIt sure sounds like everybody else is having a good time....ā
Middle school! Henry and Terrence | Pickpocket
Terrence had never been sure why people said initiating conversations with people you like was hard. All you really neededĀ was a good excuse to talk to them.
Today, his excuse came in the form of a stolen wallet. Well, notĀ stolen,Ā per se. That might be too harsh a word for it. Henry just happened in front of him in class, and he had just happened to leave his wallet sitting on his desk. And Terrence had just happened to pick it up. All with the intention of giving it back to him, of course. Regardless of the fact that Henry hadnāt so much left it there as set it there and then look away when Terrence walked past. The details were unimportant. What mattered was that he had finally caught up to Henry in the hall, and that he was finally going to get a chance to talk to him.
āHey, um... did you lose this?ā He asked.

Monster Hunting | Henry and Terrence
The sky had been threatening rain all day, and that hadnāt changed now that the sun had gone down. Terrence kept glancing up at the clouds and wondering if he should have packed a raincoat in his already overstuffed backpack, but then again, that would have meant leaving behind valuable monster hunting supplies. Besides, if it hadnāt rained all day, why should it stat right now? Just the same, he hurried up the steps and on to the porch of Henryās house, impatiently pounding on the door and calling for his friend. Hopefully Henry hadnāt meant it when he said Terrence would have to drag him out of there kicking and screaming.

Midnight Release | Henry, Gail, and Terrence
As usual for after late nights on weekends, Terrence had dragged Henry out of his bed and his home for some inane thing. Unusually, however, tonight he had dragged Henry to some inane thingĀ in Hobbsville. There was a midnight release party going on for the new Flights of Fantasy book going on at the nearest real bookstore, and though it had taken much coaxing, he had managed to get his friend to accompany him. The store was, as he had assured Henry, not nearly as packed as one might expect, populated only by a few tired looking clerks and a handful of the determined sort of geeks who were unable and unwilling to admit how unequivocally terrible their favorite book series was... and the friends those determined geeks had drug along with them, of course.
"See, Henry? IĀ told you it wouldn't be that bad," He said, "And besides, it's not that long until midnight anyway. It's not like we're going to be here all night."
This is Not Naptime || Henry & Eric
It had only been a few minutes since Eric's shouting had rang in the coffeehouse. As it was a ritual every Monday night, Eric had come with a pre-prepared speech, and had stood calmly at the front of the room. As usual, the speech quickly derailed, ending in shouting and passion and Eric standing on a table. This week, racism had been his gambit. He'd been particularly annoyed at the citizens of Pageson this week due to having been witness to a racist display. Once again, Pageson citizens had thrown a whole slump of racist terms and phrases at another resident. It was ridiculous.Ā
The only 'positive' thing that came out of this onslaught (if there was such a thing) was that he had material to work from this week. However, he was still fuming, and even shouting at the Government hasn't gotten rid of it all. Wandering off from his stance on the table, Eric collected the book he'd been reading earlier, which was plopped on a table near by.Ā
Sighing, he began to walk away. Then, something caught his eye. There was a boy dozing on a table. Somehow, through all of Eric's shouting, he'd managed to fall asleep. Eric's face curled into something akin to a scowl. While the fact that he'd fallen asleep with all of the noise, Eric was furious with this boy. How dare he sleep through Eric's speech? Nope, he was going to pay. With one deliberate movement, he dropped his book on the table. It landed close to the boy's head with a loud 'thump'.Ā
