(Sorry for the poor lighting, we're in a hurry to leave for lunch.) My husband struggles yearly to find me a gift because: (1) I buy myself what I want, (2) mother's day is usually the weekend before my birthday, (3) he doesn't like giving me one gift for both occasions, and (4) our wedding anniversary is 6 days after my birthday. Yet every year he always surprises me with thoughtful gifts. This year, an inkwell.
