In March 2003, I played in the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra during a week of cd recordings of Hubay`s violin concertos with soloist Hagai Shaham. Everyone in the orchestra watched him when he played, such was his artistic presence and gorgeous sound.

This is my favourite movement from those recordings: the 3rd Movement, Larghetto (Adagio), from Violin Concerto No. 4 in A Minor. Exquisite!
