we move on to the new part of the wheel, the Celtic festival of fire, the celebration of half way between the winter and spring solistice, st. Brigid’s day and the day the celts saw if the rest of winter was to be a harsh or mild one.

This time on our journey. A selunite Shadowheart joins the party. Calluna works on making fire flowers. Lynette tends to the fire. Yes fire-chan is back.

since it can also be a day to celebrate women, Mabon and Seelie stayed back. They’re androgynous but tend to like slightly masculine forms. Sidhe meanwhile is making their altar and Hua is providing the ambiance.

 Hi dear brother, 

It’s your lovely sister again. Yes, yes Scheria I am putting in how mad both of us are at his protecting ideas. 

Anyways last time I wrote we found last light in and entered the shadow lands proper. I got to give Shadowheart a night orchid, she apparently is working on drying out and preserving. She asked me to find her a second one for some reason. We also met isobel and fended off an attack by the absolute.

However we did need greater protection from the shadow curse and we tagged a long with Harper branthos. Who was… yes Shadowheart I admit he was pretty. Oi this is my letter thank you very much. So we followed him to this ambush spot and took on an absolute caravan. I got to see a fabled drider for the first time. Some of the gods can be so petty. We got the lantern and freed a pixie who well did bless us but was mean about it.

We also rescued rolan, the ass. I mean he was a typical wizard full of himself and took on more than he could chew. However I get it’. He’s worried about his siblings. Would I act any differently to rescue mine. Well I would probably accept any help and be nicer to them… anyways he’s safe. Astarion seemed to like I was sassy towards him, but then got disgruntled when I tried to console rolan because he was taking it hard. 

Ugh men… They make no sense. Women don’t either probably why I’m non binary. Shadowheart and Astarion keep having secret conversations and if they weren’t them I would say giggling when I walk by. 

So where was I. Oh rescuing rolan. we sent his drunk butt back to the inn and I’ll rescue his siblings just to spite them.

(She writes this but…. She had already planned to rescue him because she’s nice. Sh)

Oi stop outing me Shadowheart. 

He eventually left and we went back to exploring the lands. Ran into a bunch of Shadow monsters that liked garroting a bit too much. Judal had a field day taking them out. They also teleported so after one started chocking Gale they teleported off with him and we had to find him. He apparently had been picking up sword lessons from my practice witb Scheria and had hacked the creature away with glee.

Now covered with shadow goop it was off to camp where Mizora gave wyll a mission. I stared the bargain to get him out of his pact.

Don’t worry I know what I am doing. You did say I have a way of convincing people to do things. 

Afterwards I had a talk with Karlach and wyll and had to calm both of them down. Ugh I hate devils. Nothing ever good comes from them. Okay tieflings. There are a lot of decent tieflings.

when we finally went to bed, maybe it was because rolan searching for his siblings reminded me of how I miss you guys and I started having nightmares of that night. The dream vistor pulled me in to the prison though and we talked about the next steps. While I am pretty sure on what they are. I still have comfort. Everyone needs comfort at times.

I was tagged by @faeriiefire and I might do another one but my game files were being stupid and when I got Hua to load well I went with it.

I tend to go with red hair if I can because in a lot of movies and live action red heads are getting erased. So I am all for red head representation. … that and Hua was the one game working right.

then it was what red headed character? I could have gone with brave. Merida has brothers (although hers are older other than one), but Hua would have gotten married to help her family. Actually did get engaged…. So uh that wasn’t a good match up. Belle could be used for all my characters since she is my favorite, but that felt like an easy way out.

So I went with Mara jade.

technically she hasn’t shown up in actual movies or the like but… red head, becomes a kick ass Jedi and has a purple lightsaber.

I do actually have a lightsaber mod and I did accidentally forget to remove the wings so I might redo but when you finally get your game to work… you go with what the universe gives you.

Mara is a realist who prefers decisive action. She is sharp has a dry sense of humor and isn’t afraid to challenge authority. Adapts to people and situations. Very intelligent and very loyal and protective of her loved ones.

Hua is extremely compassionate and kind and this is very much evident when around her family. She does prefer action and is realistic but as a bard will adapt to the situation and person. She can also read people extremely well. Plus both deal with corrupt jerks in power.

phobia/ fears: Hua suffers from a phobia of betrayl. She’s been betrayed all through out her life and it makes them a bit possessive, extremely loyal to those she lets in but very slow to trust. She tries to keep people at arms length. Oh she’s friendly to everyone but no one gets to really know the real her. She’s also slow to forgive.

Hobbies : Hua likes studying the sky and the stars. She also likes studying teleportation magic and ways to cross into different realms.

Personality:

At first glance at Hua one comes across a very shy quiet girl that doesn’t make friends easily. Hua hates hurting others whether this is physically or mentally and will be the first to get up to help you if she can. She wants everyone to be happy around her and she'll be the first one to offer up a sympathetic ear. Hua is also loyal to a fault, because she is rather shy and introverted if you manage to get past her barriers she’s a friend for life.

Hua is also ridiculously competitive. She needs to be the best, she needs to win, and she needs to be seen as knowing the most. If she loses it makes her pissed off, snarky, and generally unpleasant to be around for a few hours. She also realizes that she has this ridiculous need and as such she tries to stay away from anything competitive at all, to the point that she will avoid competition with a passion and take the loss to avoid it. This feeds into her stubbornness. Once she has an idea or convinced herself of something then you need an act of congress to get her to change her opinion. She will lash out, ignore you and generally be unpleasant if you try to change her mind and she feels strongly about something. This isn’t to say she won’t change it but it takes a while.

Flaws: due to a lot of betrayl when she was younger she is extremely slow to trust. Oh sure she’ll be friendly and charming but you find you don’t know much of substance about her. She’s slow to ask for help or admit she is wrong due to a very strong sense of pride. Some times this gets her in trouble when she gets things wrong. She’s also a bit of a rebel. If she doesn’t think a law or something makes sense she goes out to fix it or change it.

Virtues: she’s very empathetic. She’s grown up in hardship and she doesn’t judge people for their background or how much money they have. She bases on how people treat others. She’s also a survivor. She won’t let others or events drag her down or change her. She’s also very knowledgeable and is quickly able to use obscure facts to win the day.
