Background: born as a princess, raised by her brother and dealt with a murderous aunt/step mother. Fell into faerun and adopted by a family of bards. Trying to get back home. Also bonded to a spirit
At first glance at Hua one comes across a very shy quiet girl that doesn’t make friends easily. Hua hates hurting others whether this is physically or mentally and will be the first to get up to help you if she can. She wants everyone to be happy around her and she'll be the first one to offer up a sympathetic ear. Hua is also loyal to a fault, because she is rather shy and introverted if you manage to get past her barriers she’s a friend for life.
Hua is also ridiculously competitive. She needs to be the best, she needs to win, and she needs to be seen as knowing the most. If she loses it makes her pissed off, snarky, and generally unpleasant to be around for a few hours. She also realizes that she has this ridiculous need and as such she tries to stay away from anything competitive at all, to the point that she will avoid competition with a passion and take the loss to avoid it. This feeds into her stubbornness. Once she has an idea or convinced herself of something then you need an act of congress to get her to change her opinion. She will lash out, ignore you and generally be unpleasant if you try to change her mind and she feels strongly about something. This isn’t to say she won’t change it but it takes a while.
