Japan’s Kounotori 7 spacecraft arrived to the International Space Station to begin a two-month period attached to the outpost while crews work to unload its 13,700 pounds (6,200 kilograms) of cargo. (more…)

A little while ago the HTV-7 "Kounotori" spacecraft was captured by the International Space Station's Canadarm2 robotic arm, operated by Drew Feustel with the assistance of Serena Auñón-Chancellor. The Japanese space cargo ship, which blasted off last Saturday, carries a huge amount of supplies and experiments. After its capture, it will take a little while before the HTV-7 starts getting moved to its berthing location on the Harmony module.
Poco fa la navicella spaziale HTV-7 “Kounotori” è stata catturata dal braccio robotico Canadarm2 della Stazione Spaziale Internazionale, comandato da Drew Feustel con l'assistenza di Serena Auñón-Chancellor. Il cargo spaziale giapponese, decollato sabato scorso, trasporta una serie di rifornimenti ed esperimenti. Dopo la cattura, Ci vorrà un po' prima che cominci lo spostamento della HTV-7 verso il punto d'attracco al modulo Harmony.

Japan’s seventh cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station lifted off from the Tanegashima Space Center in southern Japan to send more than six metric tons of cargo, including supplies to for the crew, new batteries and various experiments. (more…)

A little while ago the HTV-7 spacecraft blasted off atop a H-IIB rocket from the Tanegashima space center in Japan for a resupply mission to the International Space Station. About fifteen minutes after the launch, the cargo spacecraft separated regularly from the rocket's last stage, entered its preliminary orbit and deployed its solar panels and navigation antennas.
Poco fa la navicella spaziale HTV-7 è partita su un razzo vettore H-IIB dal centro spaziale di Tanegashima in Giappone per una missione di rifornimento per la Stazione Spaziale Internazionale. Circa quindici minuti dopo il lancio, il cargo spaziale si è separato regolarmente dall'ultimo stadio del razzo, è entrato nell'orbita preliminare e ha dispiegato i pannelli solari e le antenne di navigazione.
