i believe our members are welcoming! even with the amount of characters, i personally feel that hansung has a tight-knit feeling among the members & you shouldn't have any issue finding people to plot & write with as long as you're trying. a lot of our members post starter calls, so that's always an option as well & our orientation event is still ongoing with many opportunities for characters to interact!!! we'd definitely love to have you here if you're comfortable.

hello! in order to keep things fair & easier on the admins, there will be activity checks weekly just as there are acceptances weekly: however, the activity requirement is posting in-character in a two week span, so as long as you’re doing that, don’t worry! characters who haven’t even been in the group for two weeks yet of course won’t be kicked. our decision to post activity checks weekly is just to prevent characters who haven’t met these requirements from continually taking up a space that someone else might want. hope this makes sense!

social media influencers (including unsigned models whose primary platform is on instagram/tiktok/etc), those who have specifically stated that they’re uncomfortable with being portrayed in roleplays & anyone involved in serious scandals or suspected of serious crimes. i’d say use your best judgement and you’ll be just fine, but if you’re not sure, feel free to reach out and ask specifically and we’ll tell you if we’re comfortable with them or not!

hey there! while i’ve seen plenty of groups with canon roles, i personally feel that it’s not a terribly important feature to have, especially in a small college setting. we encourage creativity at hansungrp and i’ve personally seen many, many groups where ‘canon’ roles resulted in underdeveloped characters—i feel that if a mun comes up with the entirety of their character on their own, they’re likely to have an easier time keeping their muse up and therefore write a more well-rounded character. i also think that (with the drop rates of the rpc in mind) it would be a bit boring to see the same stencil of a character come in every couple of weeks with a new face. however, i am always willing to answer asks regarding character ideas (and i already have answered a couple), so if you’re looking for inspiration, that option’s always open.
