1. is your muse able to keep a secret?
Yeah, he can to an extent. Shota's very trustworthy but don't be surprised if somehow you find out that the person he's closest to also knows your secret. Other than that, he won't tell anyone else.
2. is your muse skilled at using technology?
He is very knowledgeable about phones and computers due to using them nearly everyday.
3. how skilled is your muse at communication?
He's okay, very well spoken and can speak publicly well due to his job of course. However, outside of that he's shy and it takes a while to get him to really open up if you're a stranger.
4. who would your muse consider their best friend?
He has a handful of people he really trusts. Taichi (@blackmephist0) for very obvious reasons, Yuya Uemura, and Ren Narita among those people - the latter two being in the NJPW Dojo along with him. Shota is also very close with his father and trusts him with anything.
5. are there any fears your muse still holds from childhood?
He is terrified of bugs, always has been and probably always will be. Often runs from bees / wasps and refuses to go anywhere near a spider.
6. what is something that ticks your muse off, no matter what?
Mockery / being made fun of in some way and people doubting him. He will prove them wrong or die trying due to the anger building up and pushing him.
7. what clothes does your muse feel most comfortable in? why?
Summer shorts, tank tops / loose t-shirts or no shirt at all. Shota loves to dress for warm weather and enjoys the feeling of the sun against his skin.
8. how many fights has your muse been a part of? how did they fare? (for canon characters, consider fights outside of the ring)
Shota spent his childhood fighting, most of them little petty arguments with peers. It wasn't until he was in his teenage years that his anger began to get the best of him. Lectures from his parents usually came next. Win or lose, he never once backed down from a fight.
9. does your muse have any nervous habits? (biting lip, fidgeting, etc.)
He has the tendency to bounce his leg up and down, humming lowly, and breathing deeply and flaring his nostrils when nervous. When things get too real or upsetting, Shota will disassociate completely and shut down for a while.
10. how often does your muse find themselves daydreaming? what about?
He doesn't really daydream a lot, but when he does it's often about his future. Retirement, where he's going to live, and if he'll ever settle down and marry. (It's always to Taichi in his head)
11. how often does your muse cry? do they cry silently, privately, or out in the open?
A certified emotional boy. Shota has the tendency to cry when upset, frustrated, or angry. It's worse when he's been drinking. He also cries at his accomplishments when he's overcome rough feats and beating the odds. He cries privately and both publicly, he doesn't really care who sees it.
12. what is a lesson your muse’s parent(s)/guardian taught them that they still hold onto?
To not give up on his dreams. Kind of the theme of this entire life - get up and try again, and again, and again.
13. is your muse proficient at any musical instruments? how long did it take them to learn?
Not at all. Shota never really had an interest at picking up a musical instrument.
14. does your muse prefer cooler or warmer weather? how does the heat/cold affect them?
Warmer! Late spring / summer are his favorite times of the year. He can't wait to fill his closet with summer clothes. He doesn't like being cold at all and doesn't prefer to travel in the snowy weather. When he's traveling to shows on the NJPW bus, he packs a blanket to stay bundled up in.
15. does your muse know how to cook? what is the most complicated dish they’re able to make?
Surprisingly yes! Shota stayed in the kitchen with his mother growing up and learned how to make many dishes through watching and learning from her. He cooks when he's able, recently perfecting Curry Udon.
16. is your muse argumentative? if not, what is a topic they feel strongly enough about to argue for?
He can be. Most things that bother him can roll off his back, but when he's in a mood he will go back and forth without fear. When he's already angry or something rubs him the wrong way, he isn't afraid to try and set someone straight. His career and the people he loves most, he would go to war for without hesitation.
