HIS GAZE FALLS TO THE ICE CREAM that sticks treat first to the sidewalk, his jaw slack as the cream melts towards the ground. his own cone remains safe within his hold, having yet to even be touched due to the collision that had occurred in the minutes following his purchase. luckily, the thin material of his mask covers his foolish expression, quickly looking up with an apologetic light finding his eyes. “… i am so sorry,” his apology is sincere, hoping that the fellow idol isn’t actually upset. he’s been notably clumsy in the past, but this... this almost takes the cake, barring the time he mistakenly dropped his phone into a river. she isn’t like his members; what if she actually gets angry?
she can’t quite see it (though it likely shows in the crinkle of his eyes), but he offers a hopeful smile as well as his own cone, extending the double mint chocolate chip scoops out towards her. his free hand raises, pulling the mask from the lower half of his features for just a moment. surely, in such a short amount of time, the passing pedestrians (and potential fans) won’t come to recognize them. “here, uh,” a pause for nervous laughter, eyebrow raising as he urges her to take it. “you can have mine? or i can buy you another one.” he should really be more careful... this is only just their first outing as friends— he’d rather this not be the impression he makes upon her.
