“ Vernon Choi is a fourth-year Gryffindor, son of a half-blood wizard and muggle-born witch. Growing up, Vernon was sent to a muggle school, whilst being surrounded by a wizarding home life, his parents feeling as though after the Second Wizarding War, it was important to bridge the gap between wizards and muggles, both feeling as though teaching them how to be both a muggle and a wizard. When Vernon started at Hogwarts, he began making friends easily, considerably amongst the muggle-born students, whom Vernon helped adjust to life in the wizarding world. During his first few lessons, Vernon should a great aptitude for Charms, quickly advancing and spending a lot of evenings practicing a new spell he had come across in books he found in the library, and it soon became common that Vernon would attempt to learn N.E.W.T level Charm spells, as opposed to O.W.L level Potions. In Vernon’s third year, he joined the Gryffindor quidditch team as a chaser, showing a great talent that became known throughout the school; following his addition to the team, it was not uncommon to find nearly every student at a Quidditch match played by Gryffindor, a great deal of students who had come to see Vernon as a friend cheering him on.  ”

“ Xu Minghao is a fifth-year Slytherin student. Minghao is the descendent of the great Xu wandmakers, who produce hard to come by wands that are always in high demands. It is known that to find the most exquisite wand, perfect for the witch or wizard with whom it was crafted for. Because of this, Minghao was brought up in a strict household, where he was taught the art of wand crafting from a young age. Minghao understood his path had been laid out for him, his father even going so far as to have Minghao craft his very own wand upon receiving his Hogwarts acceptance letter. Upon arrival at Hogwarts, Minghao took the freedom away from his family to expand his knowledge on other subjects, before quickly falling in love with flying after his first lesson. Although he failed at try-outs for the Quidditch team in his first year, Minghao refused to give up, and continued to practice and learn and succeed at all positions in the team so he was ready for when he could finally get on the team, which he achieved at the end of his second year, when the captain promised him the position as seeker, due to their previous one being in his seventh year. In addition to Quidditch, Minghao developed a great skill at Defence Against the Dark Arts in his first year, going so far as to re-crafting a new wand to that was better suited for combat. Minghao frequently found himself in detention due to his knack for sneaking into the Forbidden Forest and disused classrooms, where he would duel with other students, often winning their pocket money which eventually went on to pay for his first broom.  ”
