Warbands High Hour Training Method
Ever wanted to get the most out of your 22:00 hour day on Howrse? Why not try the following daily routine! Always have shower and water trough to make the most out of your day. Without them, this method cannot be used efficiently!
Start of day
Groom
Activity that takes about 20-28% energy. Such as 1-2 hour rides, 1-2 hours training, or lesson.
Feed your horse fodder, +10-14 pounds of oats. Anything to gain your energy back to 90%-100%.
Train your horse in any skill, or ride till ALL of your energy is gone.
Always stroke first. Never stroke a horse if you have about 10% energy, you won’t maximize energy gain from a stroke.
Carrot/water/mash any order
Use any extra energy for training, always make sure you have at least 20% energy left over and not going past 22 hours. If not there is no other way to gain energy, unless you feed a few extra pounds of oats.
This method allows upto 8 hours of rides, 9-10 hours of speed/Sta, 10.5 hours of jump/trot/gallop, and well lots of your dressage. Energy increase my rise or fall depending on random events, and when you stroke your horse. This calculation also is based without lessons, take about an hour and a half off of train per lesson you do. This also doesn’t calculate for Achilles heel. (which would add another hour or two since you would not need to have 20% energy/22:00 hour for bedding at night)
Let me know if this method works for you, and/or if you have an even better way of using this method.
