A song that reminds you of another period in your lifeanything by rise against, really. that band was very significant for me at the start of this decade and perhaps the first band i was head over heels with. it was actually that band, too, that made me join tumblr bc i liked this blog called ‘chesterfeattim’ that would post a lot of things about the band and i’d check it every day. in particular it’d probably be ‘satellite’ as that was one of my favourite songs by them from their new album. or ‘swing life away’ as that’s still a song i play frequently on the guitar. 7. A song from a genre you don’t usually listen tohmmm that’s difficult bc im not really stuck in genres and i consider myself like. pretty open to all sorts of stuff? i’d say the zugezogen maskulin songs i have in my playlist are the songs of a genre i usually don’t really like. ‘alle gegen alle’ is my favourite by them!! they’re a german rap duo and they’re produced in a way that i wouldn’t usually like, but i like them a lot because well... i feel like rap is a song that really does the german language justice. 16. A song that makes you want to cry‘into my arms’ by nick cave & the bad seeds. a friend and colleague of mine lost his wife three years ago and it’s one of the songs that always makes me cry. whenever i listen to it im reminded of him and of how much he still struggles with being a widow. 24. A song that represents “your aesthetic”i feel like ‘i heard wonders’ by david holmes is just... a defining song for me as to what i like in music so i gotta pick that!! not that it makes sense as a choice..

I don’t really know what this means x) is love a debatable issue? I mean, if you feel it, it’s real right? Or is it more like: do you believe you can be happy with someone for your whole entire life? Cause I’ve got a lot to say about that.

yes! I loved it bc we get to see a side of giles we hadn’t seen before. he’s extremely vulnerable and instead he needs buffy’s help. he’s the one pushing her away, up until that point, it was buffy who relied on him (as she should, he’s her watcher and she’s 16) but it’s a fantastic role-reversal that works so well. she drops everything for him and protects him no matter what. oz was the best part of that ep for sure and it’s a fun watch but like… it’s just very messy imo. as for spuffy, I used to be more accepting of spuffy in season 7 but now it just really angers me bc so much of season 7 is consumed by spike and the writers just decide to alienate buffy from her friends to heighten and ~highlight~ spike’s devotion to buffy and it’s just… not working. too much screen time is wasted on him and the potentials. especially bc he doesn’t even seem regretful nor does he seek redemption. he just doesn’t seem… worthy of the screen time or buffy’s attention. spuffy season 7 does not add up w/ the previous seasons. it’s like… the depth and meaningfulness of their relationship is almost nonexistent and then season 7 shows up and suddenly he means SOOO much to her i’m just bitch what? when? where? god I could go on forever but I still do enjoy season 7 despite the spuffy mess.
