ikr himuro fucks up so bad :( somehow i think he has some inferiority complex issues on stronger levels than rins. the fact he was the one introducing basketball to kagami, and now as much as he tries he wont ever surpass

kagami also makes the talent x hard work thing between them more ''tragic''... well idk if it helps, but he is going to properly apologize and cheer for kagami later! its a sweet moment bc its like kagami finally feels truly happy about winning

kagami clearly never wanted to face him this way and himuro took it as being looked down :( also, im sorry about that happening with u i know what u mean bc the same happened with me everything is even sadder when we relate on a personal level
yeah i know that himuro properly apologizes (which really is his saving grace in my eyes) but especially at this moment in the anime rn it's hard to divorce my experience and what's going on i guess??
i mean, i was really worried about myself because i was like vindictively pleased about him not being able to get in the zone/ultimately losing and that's not...normal for me?? like i don't dislike characters that much ever and then it just hit me tonight like...oh.
but the thing is himuro does apologize and he eventually tries to repair his relationship with kagami (even though it will never be the same) and i think in the end it's important to keep in mind that himuro grows from his mistakes and learns to overcome them in the end because i think deep down he knows that it's unfair to kagami and he honestly loved kagami and i think when i physically see/read that for myself instead of it mostly being secondhand i will get over this little bump because there are a lot of things to like about himuro haha.
