Unfortunately, even if he is close, he has not found it, and slowly is losing his esteemed patience. It’s the uniform, though, that attracts his eye. The crest over the breast has him slowing down to give it a second glance, at first because it’s large and golden but then because it’s a set of scales, a near-universal sign of the court.”Pardon me,” he says when the boy is within earshot, “would you happen to be in a profession of law?”
