Tutorial: How-To Create Striking Gradient Shapes & Waves for Adobe Illustrator for iPad
In this tutorial, we will explore step-by-step instructions and tips to create striking gradient waves and shapes that can enhance any project, from digital illustration to web design and marketing materials.
Starting off you'll want to open Adobe Illustrator on your iPad, and select 'custom size'.
Create a canvas that measures at 3000 x 3000 points.
Set the colour mode as 'RGB'.
Select the 'Pencil' tool, and then select 'Paint Brush'.
Select 'Calligraphic' brushes, and scroll down until you find the 15 pt. 'Round' brush and select it.
Select the 'Fill' option and set the colour value to none.
Select the 'Stroke' option and set the colour value to a colour of your choosing.
Select the 'Smoothness' option and set it to the maximum value (10).
Draw a wavy line.
Select the 'Stroke' tool and choose a new colour.
Draw another wavy line over the top of the previous.
Select the 'Stroke' tool and choose another new colour.
Draw another wavy line over the top of the previous two.
Select the 'Selection' tool.
Select all of the shapes.
Select the 'Repeat' tool.
Within the 'Repeat' tool, select the 'Blend' option.
Tip: If you have a keyboard connected to your iPad, you can use the keyboard shortcut 'Command+Alt+B' when objects are selected to blend them.
Now our gradient wave shape has been created!
Once the shapes have been blended, you can manipulate the spacing of each shape with the three dots in the middle, each one represents each of the lines.
Move each point around until you feel comfortable with their spacing.
We may want to make some alterations to our shape such as changing the rotation, shape, size, order of lines. Here’s how we can do that.
Select the 'Selection' tool.
Drag and select the shape.
Select the 'Object' tool.
Select the 'Release' option.
Now the objects are unblended they can be altered or manipulated to our liking.
To put our gradient wave back in place, first select the 'Repeat' tool.
Then select the 'Blend' option.

How to Pump Up Wheelchair Tyres Effectively
How to Pump Up Wheelchair Tyres Effectively
The process of pumping up a wheelchair tyre is one of the simplest and DIY-friendly tasks that anyone can perform. It’s similar to pumping the tyres of a bicycle or motorcycle; however, pumping a wheelchair tyre is even simpler. If your disability allows you to use your limbs and upper body strength, then pumping your wheelchair tyre(s) should be pretty easy for you to do. It is, however,…

Hey folks~
Just poppin’ in to give a quick update - I finally wrote that miniature llama pattern! You can check it out here, and if you’re not as craftily inclined, I have a few tiny llama friends that are looking for new homes as well (this is kind of a one time thing though, so once they’re gone, they’re gonnnne).
I’m always happy to answer Qs if you purchase the pattern and get confused about a particular step - buuut this pattern is intended for someone who’s already learned how to crochet the basic stitches (i.e. single crochet, how to increase stitches, etc etc).
Have a good one guyz ^_^
(Oh also the peg doll in that top photo is possibly my fave thing that I made this year - pop over to my instagram @honey.thistle to check her out!)

big, huge, awesome question: how does one draw eyelashes? i uh,,,i’m asking for a friend...
Your senpai is here to help~
1) Start with the basic eye shape- the angle of the eye and eyelid will effect the curve of the lashes, but we can start with a straight-on shot!
2) Draw the main lines of the lashes. These will be the strongest lines and will help determine the length you’re going for (I tend to draw them very long). Eyelashes tend to be longest toward the outside corner of the eye and have concave curves, though some people have straight eyelashes or more length toward the center- play around with different lengths and curves to make your lashes unique!
3) Add chunks- eyelashes are just short, stiff locks of hair! They tend to clump together, have layers, and thick eyelashes often appear ‘plush’. Tapering your lines together at the end of the lash helps create the illusion of softness- be sure to consider the angle of the eyelid at this step, too!
4) Add strays and parts- like hair, eyelashes don’t like to stay neatly together! Add stray lashes between chunks and add thinner, curved lines within them to imply individual lashes coming together to form a lock
5) Adjust the line thickness- this step is optional and depends on your style, but i tend to like to make a thicker line around the outside of the lashes to imply a cohesive shape
6) Base color- Eyelashes are usually a few shades darker than the hair on your head, but it’s all up to you!
7) Add highlights and shadow- adding little highlights to each lock you’ve created helps make the lashes look more like hair, adds depth, and can also help make the lashes look wet if your character has been crying- again, this is a stylistic choice! Be as overt or subtle as your little heart desires~
I hope this helps your friend (and you!) draw some ultra doki-doki eyelashes, Anon! Feel free to send another ask if you have more questions UwU 💕💕💕
