Hello Cheea! Thank you so much for your kind words about my fanart! I remember completely disregarding my Color Theory lectures and just kept working on in for a week or so while my professors kept talking about something or other, hehe
I wanted to ask about the background music in Mushroom Oasis? It just fits so perfectly- a little bit goofy and whimsical when it needs to be, scary and frightening when it matters
Where did you get the music? Is it online, or did you have someone else make it? I'm interested in finding similar music :))
I wanted to ask because Mushroom Oasis is a massive, MASSIVE interest I've got ever since I discovered it. It's the type of thing that can't exist without the creator loving what they do and clearly pouring their heart and soul into it ♥️
And take all the time you need until the next update! You're a great big inspiration of mine, and I hope one day I'll make something as authentic and great as you have :]
Aa thank you so much! I took a peek to see which art you're talking about and yes!! The lighting (and pizza) looks as good as ever 🍕💙!!
As for the music: Youtube! I try my best to make sure I can use it for my games, but I think a few of them still trigger copyright strikes (?),,, in my defense I didn't know the game was going to be so widespread!! ;;
A lot of people don't know, but you can actually find the music credits in the game folder listed by title, composer, link and file name!
I really should figure out how to code in-game credits, but coding is just such a big weakness of mine,,, it's hard for me to teach myself how to outside of the basics 💔 For now, I'll paste the contents below for easy access!
By the way, here’s a reminder to 🎉 Click for Palestine!
Hi I absolutely love your art and everything you make! I’m obsessed and it’s brought me so much joy.
Could you please tell me what software you use to draw and how you get the fuzzy texture effect? Thank you!!
Thank you so much! I use Clip Studio Paint! As for the fuzzy effect, I assume it's the one I use for literally everything from backgrounds, to sprites and objects in Mushroom Oasis' game art haha.
It's actually a Black and White Static brush on very low opacity with the Overlay blending mode! My friend taught it to me years ago, and I've been obsessed with applying it to everything since tbh haha.
I'll use a Vida sprite to explain:

What are Exchange Letters?
If you are looking into Fandom Exchanges, chances are you have seen "Letters" mentioned.
Sometimes called a Dear Creator letter, exchange letters are optional, but incredibly helpful, documents to have on hand when signing up for a fanwork exchange. Letters include more in-depth information about the type of gift you would like to receive than typically goes in the AO3 "Prompt" box. Broadly speaking, letters should contain everything your gift-giver would need to know in order to create art or fic you would enjoy. This may include, but is not limited to: general likes and preferences, Do Not Wants (DNWs), ship- or character-specific interests, and OC information. Whether you're writing your first letter or revising your current one, read on to learn more about exchange letters!
Some information in this post has been adapted from the guide created by @enigmalea for @arlathanxchange. Check out their other tutorials for AO3 here!
I hope you have a wonderful break! I really enjoyed the new update of the game and I can't wait for more aaa !! <33
And I agree about Mychael having different sides to him, the story feels more authentic and especially combined with the action/motion scenes, the game feels so immersive! I really, really love your work on it! The writing, the coding, the visuals, everything!! Even the bad endings is so heartwrenching </3 (ending 4 is my top fav bad ending hehe)
I also wanna ask how you did the moving scenes with the sprites? Like with Mychael falling off the bed because MC punched him (my fav scene, its so funny) and the one with him snatching MC's wrist to avoid touching the mushrooms. Was it hard to figure it out how to do it?
Aaa sorry for the ramble! >< I really love the game :'D and Mychael! Heres a tight hug for him🫂 <33
I've explained the snatching MC's hand animation here!
As for the punch and some other motions, that's actually Ren'Py's transformations.
