Currently, I'm working out a cast list. And it's a bit rough, considering just the immense amount of Characters that are in here is... well, it's kind of crazy. There's a few too many, to be honest.

However! I really like the idea. So I'm thinking about (maybe) keeping some of the original cast if/when I write the story. So it would be a strange mix of 1D and Greys Characters... well, let's just see how this goes.

This is the cast list for the first and second season.

Meredith Grey- Harry

Derek Shepherd- Louis

Christina Yang- Niall

Alex Kerev- Zayn?

Izzie Stephens- Liam?

Preston Burke-

Miranda Bailey- Possibly... Paul..? Because she bosses them around...

Richard Webber- Simon?

Addison Montgomery- Eleanor. Woops.

(Callie Torez)-

(Mark Sloan)-

(Callie and Mark are in (.) because they are Guest/Returning Characters only in season 2)

Any characters that aren't claimed will probably be left as their characters in the show. If that isn't too weird? ((when fandoms collide...))

Now, the rest of this is SPOILERS if you haven't watched the show (if you haven't watched, don't read, because then the book will be more exciting!

What I like about the cast is- Harry, Louis and Niall. Those 3 characters stick through the series through out and never leave or fade into less-important characters. Also, they can't all be gay, okay? So Niall in this will be straight. Which makes him the perfect Yang, because she shifts from Lover to Lover (Burke, who be changed into a girl, idk? leaves after Season 3, a new love interest is introduced. Keeps it nice and fresh.) Also Eleanor does fit nicely. I will not, however, portray her as too annoying/bitchy/rude because I actually kind of like the girl, so sue me.

My issues with this are- Louis would be the only head surgeon. The other four are the interns. Which is, I mean it's fine, but. He'd be surrounded (friend wise) by made up characters. Burke (female version), and then possibly Bailey, and Simon, head of it all, and yeah. So I guess not completely fictional, but no one his age, at least. I can make Burke his age.. just. Yeah okay maybe this does work, after all. I think I'll leave Bailey as herself because I personally love her, unless you have any ideas, seeing as she does play a pretty massive role in the first seasons (I mean Paul, since it's kind of his job to manhandle them and get them to where they're going, but is that really cheesy?). 

Wow, I’m not late at all in responding to this. (Sorry, I missed it.) No, I don’t think German is that hard. It’s all about immersion. I don’t know how long you have until you want to be fluent, but I think you can do it. :) Good luck either way!

German. I took a semester of it and wish I could remember more. But I took 3 years of French in high school, so now that’s one of my majors. But German is probably going to be more useful in the long run. Plus, it’s fun. :)
