However, I don't have the 3D modelling skills to make a case that would do that myself from scratch, and am having difficulty finding either an actual 3D model to use or any sort of guide to help me make one. The tablet just responds by blinking the light slowly about 6 times before shutting off. It is a wireless connection. So far I've tried reinstalling the drivers twice, downloading an older driver, charging the battery, making sure the wireless kit was in place properly, resetting the tablet on the pc,connecting it to 3 different ports, and hooking it up via usb (only to find out it wont connect via usb either even when wireless worked), and trying it again on my boyfriend's laptop. He says that it's been having some issues but usually works when he unplugs the receiver and plugs it into a different port but now it's not working for him at all either. Both our computers are installing the drivers correctly and it seems like its having no issues at all recognizing the receiver so my thoughts are that it's just the tablet.
