The prototype, which was largely reminiscent of the Plymouth Prowler launched in 1997, had a markedly 'hot-rod' character, and mounted large wheels in a five-spoke design, 20 inches at the front axle and 22 inches at the rear. It was designed by Per Gyllenspetz and manufactured by the Swedish tuner Leif Tufvesson, who later worked at Koenigsegg. The T6 Roadster had a rear-mounted petrol engine, directly inherited from the Volvo S80. We are talking about a six-cylinder in-line, 2.9-liter and biturbo, with a power of around 300 hp, which was associated with a Geartronic gearbox, piloted manual with five-speed robotic clutch. Thanks to the fact that the car weighed just over a ton (specifically, 1,075 kilograms), its performance was of the first order, and it announced a maximum speed of 328 km/h. In addition, the brake system had 330-millimeter diameter discs, along with six-piston calipers. Only one unit came into existence, the one manufactured by the Swedish specialist in his personal workshop and, although there was talk of a hypothetical production of the model in a very limited run, it never materialized.
