Yesterday my cousin went to say "laundry basket" but instead said "hot lamp"

Strobes vs. hot lamps?
I have another studio shoot today from 1-5. I'm thinking about using hot lamps this time instead of strobes to achieve something kind of like this, as far as lighting goes. This will either make my life a living hell or a whole lot easier. I haven't really worked with hot lamps before so it could be difficult. I mean, it's not like they had strobes back in the day anyway, right? It can't be that hard.
Anyone have any suggestions as far as how I should go about lighting this?
