Opening: "This weekend, I caught a deer family treating my hostas like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Again. I’m starting to think they have a group chat about my garden."

The Problem: Jackson’s deer are relentless. I’ve tried sprays, fake owls, even human hair (weird, but desperate times). Nothing works. My flower beds look like a salad bar after a frat party.

The Discovery: I stumbled on Fiorello’s About Us page (link), where they mentioned designing landscapes for “deer-heavy areas.” Finally, someone who gets it. They even listed plants deer hate—lavender, Russian sage, boxwood. (Note to self: Plant nothing cute or leafy ever again.)

Takeaways:

Fencing is expensive, but native plants might be my cheap(er) savior.
