Abuse of power is the issue, and it is the plague that has infected mankind, and taken over the planet. Many have fallen to the level of predator. I believe this is the reason we were only given access to about 10% of our brain, since its clear man would use that kind of power to do harm. Think about Wolverine, and the way his body heals itself. Our bodies do the same, just not instantly. The Human Brain is one of Gods greatest creations, and its power is believed to be infinite. And to think, God loved me and you and all of mankind enough, to BLESS us with one. And all he asked us to do is behave! But some people have a lack of Christ in their hearts, therefore the spirits of darkness rule them and their lives. Why do people do harm to other people? Answer: Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. - Ecclesiastes 8:11 Does this mean we are born with evil in our hearts? I do not know! What I do know is that little harmless children who are left to grow up without discipline and correction, become the evil people see on dateline specials. This is why I believe the Scripture: Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. - Proverbs 22:15 If you raise a child to be kind, he will be kind as an adult. Because he was raised to be that way. If you raise a child to be rude, he will be rude as an adult. Because he was raised to be that way. Foolish behavior as a child, left uncorrected, becomes criminal behavior of adults. When we choose to use our positions to oppress other people, or take advantage of other people, we only display the lack of Christ in us. You may get a few federal reserve notes, but you caused pain and loss to your brethren. And people who have the love of Christ in their heart, do not harm other people, no matter the situation, no matter how much money is on the table.
