Portrait of photographer George Hoyningen-Huene (1900-1968). Hoyningen-Huene, who was of aristocratic descent and was a Baron himself, was one of the first real fashion photographers. He made some iconic pictures for the French Vogue and American Harper's Bazaar. In France, he met his future colleague Horst P. Horst, who quickly became Hoyningen-Huene's muse, model and lover.
