Have you heard of the horned lizard
Fair warning you may not want to search it if you don't like blood
Oh I love the Horned Lizard :D
We have them in Texas (Texas Horned Lizard), but sadly they are few and far between now. My dad says he used to find them all over and now it's lucky to see even one.
They're an endangered species due to invasive fire ants and human activities including land development, illegal pet trade, and more. Fire ants outcompete their native food source which is our native Harvester Ants.
But Horned Lizards are truly fascinating! They can shoot "foul smelling" blood out of their eyes, they puff up when threatened, they soak up water like a sponge, and they look like a literal dragon. I love them :)
I hope in the future I'll be able to spot one out in the wild.

✨Big Announcement:✨
RAPH HAS A GIRLFRIEND!!! Everyone, meet Ramona!!! 🤎❤️
They met at a recreational facility in the Hidden City, and the two hit it off right away.
The real ones understand this reference ⬇️🩵
Like the 10/10 boyfriend he is, Raph learned each of the kids’ names from her cross country team in order to cheer for them at their races. She’s rly touched by this, but you won’t catch her being sappy abt it out loud. 🥰💪
Ramona’s tough girl personality is no act; sassy, quick-witted, and caring - she’ll whip her kids into shape and buy them all ice cream after the race. With a go-with-the-flow attitude, she can fit in almost anywhere… and she quickly found her way into the heart of a certain red snapping turtle and his family. 🤎❤️
More content coming soon! Thx for keeping up! 🙏❤️

Those days when you just go “Eh close enough”

I know they don’t actually cry blood, but it’s still such a cool imagery to use.
