Comforting Hope [Hope x Zach]

[Zach]
Zach had seen Misty and Nibs running out and he knew it was something to do with Hope. He excused himself before running out to find her as well. The male didnât bother knocking as he rushed into the room. Seeing her in Mistyâs arms with tears streaming down her face he knew that she had had one of her panic attacks. âAwe baby girl...come here.â He walks over and holds his arms out to her.
[Hope]
She heard Zachâs voice and didnât hesitate to leave her motherâs arms and go to Zach. She held onto him tightly and cried on his shoulder. âIâm sorry Zach.â She said trying to calm down but she was starting to freak out again.
[Zach]
Zach held her in his arms and let his hand brush over her hair soothingly. âShhh...you are okay baby girl. Just breath okay? Everything will be fine.â He reassures her while holding her close to him and letting her let it all out.
[Hope]
Hope let it all out and cried on his shoulder before pulling away and wiped away her tears. âI got your suit all dirty. Let me just go grab another.â She said standing up and moving to the closet.
[Zach]
âHope itâs okay, I can just use some pixie dust to clean it off without a problem.â He responds, not wanting her to worry about the suit being dirty.
[Hope]
She heard his words and sat back down. âThis probably isnât how you imagined this going huh?â She asked giving him a small smile as she wiped her face again.
[Zach] He used the pixie dust to clean the suit before looking at her. âItâs okay Hope, I don't mind.â Picking up some tissues, he brought them over to her and offered them to her for her to take. âHere, you can use these.â Â
[Hope]
Hope wiped her eyes and sighed, âThanks.â She moved to throw the tissues away. âYou didnât have to come. You know itâs bad luck for us to see each other. Iâm fine. I was just...having a moment but Iâm better. You should go back and wait for me.â
[Zach]
âI rather make sure you are okay Hope. Besides, itâs only bad luck to see you in your wedding dress and I never saw you in your wedding dress, therefore no bad luck. Are you sure you are okay now?â
[Hope]
She nodded looking at him, âYeah I was just overwhelmed for a second. The commitment and then Ken and I donât know. When I get like that the attacks happen. I usually take medicine but I guess I havenât been paying attention.â
[Zach]
âThatâs okay baby, I understand. It can be rather stressful, hell even I was scared for a bit too since I havenât done this before but then I reminded myself that you are more than worth it so that helped me to calm myself down. Just the thought of you helps to calm me down.â He explains to her before turning around. âWould you like me to get your dad so he can walk you out again..you know since I canât see you in the dress and all.â
[Hope]
âYeah...well I should put my dress back on first.â She said not wanting her father to see what she was wearing. âZach I am okay. I will see you at the altar. My emotions are just sort of everywhere but really Iâm fine. I just, you know when you think of getting married you donât think your best friend is going to come and try to stop you.â She said teasingly shrugging.
[Zach]
âYeah that is true too. But okay, I will see you at he altar then. I will tell him to come and check on you in a bit.â Zach responds before going over and kissing her head before leaving the room and getting Nibs.
[Hope]
Hope sighed as he left and went to grab her dress off the floor. Her mother had come back in to help her get redressed and redid her hair and make up before letting Nibs in.
