Dear Diary
Drabble Game #11Â
Jinu (Winner) X Reader Fluff.Â
@peachyseokwoo I actually really liked writing this one, it’s simple but cute. I hope you like it :)
Documenting your life was one thing you never failed to do. Every night before you went to bed or through the day when something happened, you’d jot an update down. You found it to be therapeutic. Writing your feelings helped relieve tension and let a weight off your chest.
It was late at night and your friend Jinu was over watching a movie. He couldn’t sleep since his roommate's friends were over at his place, and heaven only knew how wild Mino’s friends could get. After finishing a couple of movies, Black Panther and The Notebook, (this movie was what actually inspired you to start documenting your days) you went to the kitchen and decided to quickly write in your notebook, blaming it on disinterest in the movie. In reality, his hand on your knee had you feeling tingly all over and was messing with your head. Skinship was common with him and although you felt something special for him you didn’t know if he felt the same way, or if he just liked skinship. Escaping to the kitchen and expelling your feelings sounded like a much better idea than enduring the restless feelings. You must have lost track of time and it wasn’t long before you heard a voice behind you
“Dear Diary….” You involuntarily jumped, taking in a deep breath. He laughed at your reaction and continued reading “Should I ask him? I don’t want to ruin an amazing friendship with Jinu if…” His words cut off as you abruptly slammed the cover down on the book.
“How about we get back to the movie?” You gave him a bright smile, but the look on his face showed he wasn’t letting this off so easily.
“What do you want to ask me?” He stepped closer and you took a step backwards, running into the table. “Go ahead. Don’t be shy.” He was really enjoying this, his smirk growing wider by the second.
“I was just wondering if you liked me.” You spit the words out so fast they were undecipherable.
“You gotta say it slower, I can’t understand you.” With a chuckle, he took another step, coming within a foot of you.
“Do you like me?” Your eyes focused themselves on the floor, sure he would say no. When he spoke, he spoke with confidence and a laugh in his voice.
“Of course I do.” He leaned forward and quickly pressed a kiss to your cheek. “Let’s get back to the movie.” He grabbed the hand you had pressed to your face in shock and drug you to the couch. When he put his hand on your leg, and even put the other around your waist, you still felt the tingles, but knowing his feelings made them feel a little sweeter.
You always knew keeping a diary would pay off someday.
