Dalex always seems to have such a calm and relaxed demeanor. Is there anything that would/could happen that would make him all giddy and excited? Y’know, break from his usual easy-going ‘tude?
The default thing that'd get him starry-eyed is cute shit. Puppies, kittens, chicks, basically baby versions of a variety of creatures, including people.
A second thing would be the concept of love at first sight, usually in the written format. He's enamored with it despite knowing he can never experience it himself. Bonus points if the person in question chooses to act on their love rather than keeping it hidden away. Even more bonus points if they go the secret admirer route, because he's a sucker for that too.
Third thing would be secondhand excitement/happiness for his friends after they accomplish something that means a lot to them. Getting a good grade in school, landing their dream job, finding a special someone, etc. If it's that big a deal to them, it's a big deal to him as well. Expect a hug n' twirl or an offer to help celebrate the occasion.
Fourth would be the same, only the Big Thing is happening to him this time around. This is most likely to happen in the romance department than anywhere else, especially if the object of his affection felt like something out of his league or otherwise unattainable. The idea that they'd choose him would be enough to bring him to tears, especially since he was expecting a "No" because, again, he thought he'd never meet their standards.
Safe to say, a delighted/super happy Dal is a bit uncommon, but if he gets to that point, you know he means it.
