Corey’s home life was probably considered ideal by anyone who didn’t know what was going on. They weren’t rich, not by any means, in fact she can’t remember a point where they weren’t in debt to some degree. However, she likes to think that her parents loved her. Even if her mother was far too aggressive about her practicing, and her father was too relaxed about anything. She didn’t have a lot of friends, her mother and her trainer were adamant on the idea that ‘children are to be seen and not heard’. So she stayed quiet a lot of the time. It was rough, but people have a tendency of looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses, so she overlooks a lot of the damage she did to herself. The bulimia to keep herself thin, but still able to enjoy her food. There’s bruises that she still sometimes sees that have long since faded. She can still hear her trainer yelling, even when she kills that her feet aren’t right. That her back needs to arch more. Yet, if you ever asked her about it? She’d claim that it was perfect.When she wasn’t living for her mother or her trainer, she was living in fear that her parents would be killed or worse for their debts to… Well, she now believes it was to mobsters. She had so much pressure on her shoulders to win events so they could pay off the debts that they used to pay the trainers. She didn’t have friends, she didn’t have… The only thing she had was her father who most of the time was too stoned to care when he was home. 

Everything is a choice, even in surprisingly tough situations. Corey was always a little bigoted towards Russians, it comes with serving and fighting against them. She doesn’t hate the entirety of them, because… She’s not dumb enough to believe that ‘all Russians started the war’. She likes to think everyone in their group isn’t that dumb. However whatever humanity she had BROKE when the bomb fell. She’d been mulling it over during the events of Hotline Miami 1, not completely sold on the idea of slaughtering people. Then, at some point… I think it was triggered by the death of the Russian mob’s leader, repressed memories from being a child… Her family being in debt to other’s, mixed with her hatred of Russians from the war and the bomb it… It took her over. She the hero in her own mind, killing bad people. Everything she’s done, everything that’s brought her to this point wasn’t a circumstance.It was a choice.

Corey doesn’t like usings words, talk’s cheap. If you care about her show it. Physical affection speaks volumes to her, and it’s primarily because she doesn’t know how to verbalize what she feels. Body language, and physical affection are her calling cards when she does feel attached to someone. Doesn’t matter whether it’s a platonic love or something more, don’t tell her you love her. Show it. Even if it’s little things. 

He’s smiling widely, eyes heavy-lidded and unfocused. Sasha has no idea who this woman is, but hell if he cares, he’ll offer her the fist bump anyway.
