Probably my best ever OUAT theory.

What if when Hook’s father vanishes on the ship when Hook’s a kid it’s because another, older son, from another life in an unlikely time frame has found him and come back to kill him and then convinces him to run away?

What I’m saying is what if Hook’s father had been alive forever constantly fathering kids, getting sleeping cursed, waking up, fathering other kids only to find his last lot of kids are still alive somehow and have come for him and he runs away from the little kids and on and on until Hook killed him?

Happy Holidays to you. Well, I hope that PapaHook story is not quite done, so it’s hard to judge. If it turns out PapaHook only appeared in that one episode and the show had Killian murder him in the same episode he is sent to the Underworld and Killian doesn’t meet him there? Then I’ll say the storyline is one huge missed opportunity and a big bust.

Any theories abut the test Regina gives Hook in the past? I'm a little afraid that she might have made him kill his father. Since this is during the time when she asked him to go kill her mother, maybe she wanted to see if he was capable of doing the job by having him kill his own father. Then again, she wouldn't know about his past.

OH, whoa. I didn’t think of that. Him killing his father. Yikes.

I hope not. Would he really need a job from her that badly? Even if he hates the guy for abandoning him, that’s next level twisted.

Other than that, I have no idea. This very much feels like a way to shoe-horn in the Evil Queen someplace in order to appease her rabid fans. I’ll be very impressed if they make it feel organic and not completely contrived that she’s there.

Please help me out here. I keep seeing people say that Regina will be the one to go to the Unserworld sonce she os more important ok that's fine but why bring in Killian's dad ? If what people are saying about 5B is true, why intoduce Killian's father in a Regina arc ?. I'm sending this around to get different views :)

First, that’s just one theory and there are a thousand possibilities of what will actually happen. WE KNOW NOTHING.

Second, who is saying she is going to be sucked there because she is “more important?” Regina-stans? BUTTHURT SHIPPERS? Nervous nonnies? I don’t think characters get sent to hell because they’re “more important.” Thinking of it like that is total shipwar and fanwar nonsense.

Third, why would a focus on one character preclude other character’s involvement or storylines? Do you think that if Regina disappears, Killian will be irrelevant to the story or not have his share of the half season? Dark Swan is Emma’s arc, but is everyone else being ignored? NO. The show is an ensemble, how much time and story is devoted to each ebbs and flows, but it’s all integrated and interwoven.

Forth, the obvious explanation is the speculation that Killian’s father has a tie to the Underworld. It doesn’t matter who gets sucked to the Underworld (assuming that’s what happens) whether it’s Killian or Regina or someone else, Killian will most assuredly play a roll, either because he’s in hell or because he’s part of the rescue party. I assume they are introducing Killian’s father and backstory now because it ties to the larger arc.
