Meme: In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when theyāll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours.
Stephanie had been waiting twenty years, six months, eight days and thirteen hours for this moment. She wasnāt sure where she was going to be, when it was going to happen. When she was younger she dreamed about it, she wanted it to be perfect. In her teens, she had been in love and hated the idea that her soul mate was going to be him. But finally, she just had just expected, that someday that number was going to hit zero on her wrist and she was going to be standing in front of her soul mate.
There wasnāt a reason to stress out over it, it was going to happen and she was just going to go with the flow when it did.
She had ran out of the house that morning with her hair thrown in a messy ponytail and shoving her essay into her bag. By the time afternoon had rolled around she had been focused on thinking about the readings she had to do for the week and trying to come up with a thesis for her term paper in her head.
She had grabbed a coffee and was going to head to the library. She had picked up her coffee and was checking the messages on her phone when she turned around. She walked directly into the man, her coffee spilt all down the front off of him. She hadnāt glanced at wrist all day, but she knew from the time on her phone that this was it.

āIām so sorry, Iām not always this clumsy, but frequently Iāve been known to be clumsy. I, um, ah-,ā Steph had knocked his coffee out his hands as well. And people were staring at them. āIām sorry, can I buy you another coffee?ā
Jason laughed at her comment and began walking slowly around her. Who was he? āIām trouble. The nameās Red Hood. Iām here in the city to get back something that was stolen from me. Have you heard about the copycats calling themselves āThe Hoodsā. They stole from me on my turf and Iām here to strike back.ā Jason eyed her over, her costume was easy on the eyes, even better was the crossbow at her side. āCrossbow huh? Who are you? The Arrowās partner?ā
"Oh, real original. 'I'm trouble.'" She snorted, tossing her long mane behind her shoulders to show that no, she definitely didn't feel threatened by this guy at all. She didn't like it one bit-- his predatory circles, that is-- she couldn't keep one eye on him at all times that way, unless she turned along with him, but that would make her look like a very lost puppy. Not exactly the kind of image she wanted to project to a potential threat. As such, she stood still, back straight, chin up and arms crossed over the chest-- a pose of both defiance and royalty. She had, actually. She had done a bit of research upon reaching home, and there were tons of reports about the new group. "Just because we share a similar weapon, doesn't make us the same team. I'm nobody's sidekick." Hera said calmly, voice fueled with ferocity towards the end. Her independence was something valuable-- she wasn't going to be a sidekick cast to the shadows, she would shine in her own right. Besides, it wasn't entirely a lie-- Oliver didn't know she was back yet-- once he did, he would probably be chasing her down, and not to strike up a business deal on the whole vigilante scene. "I'm the Huntress. I'd ask who you are, but you already introduced yourself." A pause. "So what, you're going to murder a bunch of people? I thought imitation was the sincerest form of flattery."

"If it isn't good, old mister shovel and pale! What brings you my way, Hood? Been a while since I've seen you with that thing on. Seriously dude, you need a cooler helmet. Try a motorcycle helmet."

It's her first time donning on her Huntress outfit upon recent return to Starling City, and she's getting used to it again after a week of it being locked away in the closet. After a brief period of time she allowed herself to have to survey the changes, she's ready to begin her duty of saving people from those with ill intentions. Right now, she's perched on a fire escape of a dark alleyway where crime had been reported to take place in. "You should turn around," she yells down to the lone stranger who she's convinced is out of their mind. Walking around alone-- at night-- in Starling City. Really?

Wow, how many cigarettes and vigilantes are there in this city?
She whips around at the voiceā apparently not training for a few days really pushes the vigilanteās progress back. Her normally sharp sense of hearing hadnāt picked up the otherās footsteps at all."Countless cigarettes, not too sure about the latter." The dark-haired regarded the other as a predator would do to a preyā for all she knew, he was out for her blood. "Whoāre you?"
"Drake, this means nothing" Jason kisses him lightly on the lips and waits for him to pull away. (You've got the kidding disease! Spread it by kissing the next ten people on your dash.)
"Iād better not catch anything from that.ā
