What is a fork? A fork is the combing (or crashing as I like to call it) of two or more waves. What causes forks? Brushing in the wrong direction, sleeping without a durag, wearing headwear w/o a durag, & incorrect combing during your sessions. A fork won’t appear over night, although it seems to be that way. However, forks are created over time.... so the only way to get rid of them is over time. As you can see in the above picture there is a fork in my pattern, (that weird looking part). Fork removal consists of wolfing, combing, brushing, and consistency. The objective is to push the fork forward (brushing), reconnect the current pattern with the existing pattern (combing & brushing) all during a wolf. Doing so allows you to “retrain” that part of the hair. Implement this tip with the washing method while in the shower to expedite the process. #OceanAve360 #homeofthewave (at Alabama / Georgia Border Line) https://www.instagram.com/p/B7uG0bSB_lG/?igshid=2c94wd40xvgu
