It is silently famous. Great weed, great cheese, culturally diverse, secluded, quiet, by the sea, by the forest. Inherently magical. The misty mountains. The sparking sea. The ever crisp air. The farms in the marshes. The ocean on the left, the redwoods on the right.
You may know the area if you've seen the original Star wars trilogy, as it was filmed there. You may know it for the weed, you may know it for the cheese, the milk, or the college. Nothing beats home. Where you can see the ocean from the hill. Almost completely untouched because you have to drive several hours to get there. Only known by locals. It's inconvenient to get there, so it's beauty is a secret. They call it the Lost Coast for a reason. Many come and go because it's not booming like big cities, but for those who can appreciate the quiet and the wonder, it's the most beautiful place in the world.
