Finally listened to it in HQ from beginning to end. WOW! I don’t have words to express how fantastc this is. But I’m going to digest this more, the point in enjoying a new album, is when you try to decipher all the little details and sounds in the production of the songs and pay attention to the lyrics. That’s why I am not going to make a proper review of this until I listened to it thoroughly and in the best quality possible (when I get the album on the friday in HQ).
But let me say that the most standout tracks for me after hearing this once are: Music To Watch Boys To, God Knows I Tried and The Blackest Day. Especially GKIT, how can there be someone who doesn’t like that song? MY GOD, it’s soooo fucking epic and emotional, I almost cried while listening to it.
I am not going to rank the albums, as I think every Lana album is different from the other, the intentions an the emotions she puts on the albums are different and the purposes too, so it’s stupid and useless to rank them. The same happens to me with Björk’s discography.
