Something iāve been thinking aboutā¦.being aware of everything, specifically how life evolves and the randomness and diversity of lifeforms on earthā¦everything happened by chance, and everything would be so different only by chanceā¦.and the reason why all life exists and looks a certain way and tries new things (mutations) is for reproduction to be the end goalā¦if it doesnāt work it dies outā¦.itās so existentially terrifying. Very bleak. We are attracted to things looking a certain way to reproduce, itās the sole reason why we have some features (like breasts) and why impractical things still exist because reproduction occurs in spite of it (menstruation). For everything to be this wayā¦.to be attracted to any lifeformā¦ā¦..doesnāt this knowledge cause it all to cease? Disillusioned by sexual impulses. Iāve never heard anyone say this beforeā¦ā¦everyone/thing is all products of environment and DNA
To have such a natural connection to oneās biology, I canāt understand itā¦probably because Iāve always had a natural tendency to somewhat dissociate(?). Like looking in a mirror too long, or hearing my own voice too long, I become too aware of it and I donāt recognize it. Iāve also never felt an attachment with my name. This is also probably because of my natural dysphoric tendencies.
Like look at the sheer diversity of life, like underwater animalsā¦that could be you or me, but itās notā¦
Humans are obsessed with their own species, with their incessant desire to anthropomorphize everything
