Realistically, Rohan had started it, not him.

It wasn’t really his fault that someone had seen them scuffling and decided to call the cops. He was the victim here, but apparently they weren’t interested in that at all. That was why they were sharing a cell, apparently. To “cool off”, they said.

Mercy was going to kill him, he realized. Felix sighed, propping his chin on his hands which resulted in Rohan being pulled his way and their heads colliding with a solid, painful noise. The other cursed, pulling his arm back, dragging Felix with him. The back and forth continued for several minutes of swearing, insults, shoving. Why they had to share a pair of handcuffs was beyond him.

 “I already regret this.” Rohan quipped, his arms crossed only limiting the distance between them.

“For the love of god, shut up.” Felix groaned, forehead against the bars as if the prospect of hitting his head against them was better than Rohan talking. “Just keep your mouth shut and stay on your side of the cell, okay?”

Rohan didn’t respond. Felix slowly turned to him and saw him making a locking motion across his lips, shrugging his shoulders. 

“I could actually punch your lights out right now.” 

“You told me to keep my mouth shut though!” Rohan laughed, and Felix could feel the heat rising in his cheeks from anger. He jerked his arm forward, forcing Rohan to unfold his arms.

“Couldn’t you just..” Felix snapped his attention to the other, who was making a twisting motion with his cuffed hand, head tilted questioningly.

“What? Pop my hand off? What the fuck do you think I am, honestly? Some Saturday morning cartoon robot?”

“Yes.”

Felix pressed his face to the bars again, groaning in frustration. “I swear to god if I never see you again it’ll be too soon.”

“You don’t mean that, Rusty.”
