I can't tell whether you're referring to screenshots of the game itself or making sims take photos so I'll answer for both ahah

for screenshots, assuming you're not on console you just press C on the keyboard and V to record videos, or there's a button for both next to the pause/speed controls:

(I've never actually used that button myself but. it exists)

also there's a screen capture tab in the game options that lists where the screenshots are saved to, and lets you pick whether you want the game UI shown in the screenshot. personally I leave it off because you can't take screenshots while in menus anyway, so I prefer to just manually printscreen stuff into ms paint if I want to save things that show the UI. like Mettaton phoning Toriel to tell her he had a nice date with human Santa Claus

as for taking in-game photos, you use the sim's camera app:

ye I had a similar thought! I absolutely get why so many people immediately went "Kris is the Knight!!" after that ending, but I'm not 100% convinced just yet?

Queen did say (or ask rhetorically) that all Lightners have determination and anyone could potentially create dark fountains, so I could see it being that Kris just wants to keep having these adventures, even if they have to cause them by their own hand. they've never been the most well-behaved kid anyway, and after hearing most of their friends talk so positively about their recent adventure, I imagine that could easily fill them with enough determination to try creating a new fountain. can't help but wonder what Ralsei will think if he finds out they did the one thing he warned against, though..

apologies for taking so long to answer this but I adore the concept so much

personally I'm not expecting it in that I'll be upset if it doesn't happen, but at the very least there's no way she won't appear in the next Dark World and she could still play a part without joining the team, similar to how Berdly was handled. either option would still have plenty of opportunities to expand on Toriel's characterisation throughout the chapter and I am all for it if we get that :'D

no offense to your friend but genuinely that's one of the most bonkers interpretations of Undertale's themes and messages I think I've ever heard

I could maybe understand if it's like how people in youtube comments would notoriously harass let's players who did anything other than pacifist, but... I think that kind of attitude towards the game requires ignoring so much of what the pacifist route specifically tries to tell you. like, forgiving Asriel being completely optional? Sans' speech about how trying to do the right thing doesn't mean you're inherently innocent or naive? or Asriel again, outright stating that not everyone in the world is kind, not everything can be fixed by being nice and the best you can aim for is to live and not kill people?

...anyway, you don't gotta thank me for loving Undertale!! this game is one that so many people had a very personal experience with, and whatever feelings you hold onto from it are absolutely valid, no matter what anyone else thinks :'> and especially given that the internet has largely moved past Undertale being considered ~cringe~ - it's definitely the case in some circles, but a lot more people are out there just unironically, shamelessly loving this game. it's nicer than it was around 2016 and 2017, at least ✨
