I am someone who absolutely hates nature in every possible way, and the idea of going for walks in the countryside makes me feel physically ill just thinking about it. I really hate it, and it also makes me very nervous.

As for holidays, it depends. If I take long ones where I have two or three weeks off (depending on the year), then the first week is always for travelling somewhere —if possible outside Spain— and visiting at least a couple of cities, seeing museums, monuments, that kind of thing. The second week is for staying at home and doing absolutely nothing.

If I only take a one-week holiday, I usually spend it on the sofa doing absolutely nothing, other than maybe going out for a drink with friends one afternoon. But it’s possible that the weekend before that holiday week I’ll go somewhere for one or two nights, within Spain of course. I usually really like visiting Madrid if I can because I have a lot of friends there and it’s a city that completely captivates me. But if I don’t feel like going out, then a small coastal town is always fine.
