Land of The Dead
It was going to be a simple ambush... no one knew the Noxians had a mage with them. As quickly as she showed herself, Abe called all attention to her. A shining example of quick and critical decision making, as the sorceress was shot by three arrows before casting her first offensive spell, but as unfortunate as it was, she was determined to hit someone with it before collapsing. And who else would that be than the infamous general of The Flayers? Abe could dodge many things, but not a swirling ball of blindingly bright mist that followed its target around. As it inevitably swallowed him whole, Abe’s vision darkened and his entire skin began crawling and itching. He felt as if his body was torn apart piece by piece, and as if he was falling in all directions for an immeasurable amount of time.
Eventually, the effect faded, and in great pain, he manifested in the darkened depts of what looked like long abandoned catacombs. One deep breath, and he was standing on his feet, sword still drawn. ‘Did she just teleport me? Dammit, they must have known of us.’ He inspected his surroundings, surely, the mage misplaced him in her anguish. But then, where was he?
It didn’t take much exploration to encounter the first undead being, hostile of course. ‘Clearly, the Shadow Isles. Or some sick necromancer’s lair...’ He concluded as he separated the creature from its head. A strange white substance was left behind as its body faded away. Abe inspected it for a few minutes, but there was nothing he could do that affected it, thus he moved on.
Several corridors and a trail of white mist corpses latter, he found an exit and stepped outside. Creatures of the same kind were marching between the ruins, though, certainly more dangerous than the bare-skinned ones he faced before. Just great. Armored knights with hostility were all he needed... With a sigh, he marcher forward, ready to fight them.
