Look. I know im like 10 months late to the party here but I wanted to share this thought ive had about the season 1 finale Wenclair scene since I pretty recently watched season 2.
So it's confirmed that Wednesday is actually allergic to color, right? And while I know people love the hug because it's a symbol of their growing friendship and shows how much Wednesday cares about Enid because she hates touch...
But alongside that, I think about how Wednesday KNOWS she's going to get hives from hugging Enid. She knows rhat she's going to have to live with that discomfort for a bit of time. But she hugs her anyway, to comfort a tired and bloody Enid, to make Enid feel safe and loved, to show her how much Wednesday truly cares about her.
I havent been in this fandom space in a long while so if this is a point others have brought up/is a popular theory/is common knowledge i get it lol 😅
