Look at this sleepy pupper doing a snooze! Believe it or not, this is part of our socialization process (google “Sophia Yin Socialization Checklist”). This step is socializing Mona to being held/restrained/handled in various positions and for varying periods of time. This early socialization is very important if you want your puppy to grow up without spazzing out during vet visits or grooming sessions. Yesterday, Mona struggled, but today, she settled down quickly and as you can see here, she has fallen asleep! She also will get treated for this, of course! Drewbert is watching on being like “Don’t worry girlie, we all gotta go through this once if we want to grow up to be the goodest doggo.” He’s already much more comfortable with her presence!
